Defender Michael Mancienne has signed a new one-year deal with Burton Albion.
The versatile 34-year-old former Chelsea centre-back has made 41 Burton appearances since moving to the Pirelli Stadium in February 2021.
Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said Mancienne, who also previously played for Nottingham Forest and Hamburg, is "a rock" for his side.
"He is somebody that, off the pitch and on it, leads by example," Hasselbaink told the club website.
"It's very important for us to be able to keep him. He wants to play - he knows he's not going to play every match but he needs to help us with the younger players, and he's happy to do that.
"His role is very important. He's got tons of experience, he's a really good character and I'm really happy that he's signed."
Mancienne said signing a new deal with the Brewers was a "no-brainer".
"Hopefully we can push on and do good things next season," the defender added.

Burton Albion captain John Brayford has signed a new two-year contract.
The 34-year-old defender, who rejoined the club permanently in 2017 after initially coming through Burton's youth system, last season won the club's Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Season awards.
He has featured more than 300 times for the club across three spells.
Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink called Brayford "a very important person at the club" on and off the pitch.
"He leads by example in the right way and he's our player of the year, our club captain and one of the fans' favourites, and we don't really want to let those kind of players go," Hasselbaink said.
Brayford, who has also played for Derby County, Sheffield United, Cardiff City and Crewe, said there "have been a few negotiations", but stressed that he "certainly wanted to stay" at Burton.
"It's amazing to get it all finally sorted, and to tie it down to two years at this club is brilliant for myself. I can't wait to get going in pre-season now," he told the club website.

Burton Albion have signed forward Davis Keillor-Dunn from Oldham Athletic on a two-year contract.
The move will be formally completed on Friday, after the 24-year-old's contract with Oldham expires.
The Latics went down to the National League last season despite Keillor-Dunn scoring 17 goals in 56 appearances.
"I think we needed a bit more creativity up the top end of the pitch, and we hope he can offer that for us," said boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
"He can play all four positions up front, whether it's wide or central. We know we can get him fitter and there's still room for improvement with him."
Burton finished the 2021-22 League One campaign in 16th place and begin the new season at Wycombe Wanderers.
"I really enjoyed my time at Oldham and I'm very grateful to them for everything they have done for me," said Keillor-Dunn.
"I believe that playing under the manager here will really suit me. He's played at the top and that's the experience I need to help develop my game. He has ambitions like myself, and I think he'll push me onto that next level."

Burton Albion have signed Finland Under-21 captain Viljami Sinisalo from Premier League club Aston Villa on loan for the whole of the 2022-23 season.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper has made two appearances for Villa's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy and spent the 2020-21 campaign with Scottish Championship club Ayr United.
Sinisalo recently signed a new three-year contact at Villa Park.
He becomes the Brewers' second signing of the summer.
"We're pleased to have been able to bring Vil in, he's got pedigree at such a young age," said Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
"He's had a fantastic summer with Finland's under-21s, he's highly rated at Villa and he's the type of keeper we like, so we're pleased to bring him in."
Sinisalo will provide competition for first-choice keeper Ben Garrett at the Pirelli Stadium.

Swindon Town have signed midfielder Saidou Khan from National League side Chesterfield.
The 26-year-old made 37 appearances for Chesterfield last season, scoring six goals, and has activated a release clause in his contract.
Khan began his career in non-league football and joined Maidstone in 2019, before enjoying a spell on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge two years later.
"I'm lost for words to be here and really excited to get going," he said.
"I've gone quite a long route in my footballing career to get to this stage, but I feel ready to perform and give my all for this great club."
Burton Albion have re-signed midfielder Calum Butcher from Dundee United on a two-year contract.
The 31-year-old had two years remaining on his deal, but was released to join Burton on a free transfer.
Butcher played the last of his 134 games for the Scottish side in March, having not been selected after April because of "a private matter".
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said Butcher would need "a bit of time to get fully fit" after training alone.
"He's quite explosive and is going to have to go through the pain to get himself ready, but we're quietly confident that he will do that quickly," Hasselbaink continued.
It is the second time Hasselbaink has brought Butcher to Burton from Dundee United, with the Dutchman recruiting the midfielder in his first spell at the Pirelli Stadium in the summer of 2015.
In his solitary season with the Brewers, the former Tottenham trainee helped the club to promotion to the Championship before leaving for Millwall.
Butcher, who went on to feature for Mansfield Town before joining Dundee United for a second spell in 2019, said the move back to Burton "worked out really well for me".
"When you move to a new club you want to hit the ground running and this allows me to do that," he told Burton's website.
"It's great to see some familiar faces. Working under the gaffer before, I know what he's about and we had a discussion, and it just felt right."

Adeboyejo, who started his professional career at Leyton Orient and had loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Cambridge United, scored a total of nine goals in 97 games over five years with the South Yorkshire sides.
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said Adeboyejo is "a talented boy with big potential",

Burton Albion midfielder Joe Powell has signed a new two-year contract with the League One club.
The 23-year-old made 38 appearances last season, scoring four goals, all in games that the Brewers won.
He began his career at West Ham and had a loan spell with Northampton Town before joining Burton in January 2020.
"A few options came up and I've wanted to do myself the justice to assess them, but ultimately this is the best place for me to be," he said.
Powell won the club's goal of the season award in 2020-21 for a 40-yard effort against Portsmouth.

Corrie Ndaba in action for Ipswich Town
Ipswich have an option to recall Corrie Ndaba in January
Burton Albion have signed defender Corrie Ndaba on a season-long loan from League One rivals Ipswich Town.
The 22-year-old moves to the Pirelli Stadium after signing a new three-year deal with Ipswich last month.
Ndaba spent last season on loan with Salford in League Two, featured 31 times for the club.
"He's a defender that fits the criteria - he'll fit in like a house for us," Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told the club website.
Ndaba will play League One football for the first time with the Brewers, with his five first-team appearances for Ipswich all coming in cup competitions.
The former Republic of Ireland Under-18 international, who spent the first half of 2021 on loan at Scottish side Ayr United, said Dutch boss Hasselbaink convinced him to choose the Brewers over a number of other interested clubs.
"When I spoke to the gaffer here, it just felt right," Ndaba said.
"What he expects from a player and a person corresponds with me as a person."
Burton's 1-0 defeat by Ndaba's parent club Ipswich on Tuesday left the Brewers bottom of the table with just one point from four games.

Burton Albion have signed midfielder Elliot Thorpe from Championship side Luton Town.
The Wales Under-21 international has moved to the Pirelli Stadium on a season-long loan.
Thorpe, 21, began his career with Tottenham Hotspur but did not make a first team appearance before moving on to Luton in September 2021.
"He's a great prospect with a great future ahead of him," said Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
"Hopefully, we can make him better and he will be a great asset. He's a midfielder who can also play right wing back. He's hard working, he has pace, gets stuck in but also brings quality with his crosses."
Burton allowed striker Gassan Ahadme to join Ipswich Town earlier in the day and also cancelled West Bromwich Albion midfielder Quevin Castro's contract.
Hasselbaink's side are bottom of League One, with one point from their first six games.
