Sunak, a guy who held a US green card for over a year after becoming the new CoE and also he and his wife sent out this implicit "message" that they were not gonna stay in this country for too long - very unimpressive and Sunak's popularity amongst the Tory faithful plummeting!

Highly unlikely they are paying any or much tax, it was one of the main reasons for Brexit, but was put over as us "taking back control of our money" making it sound like it was yours and mine. It was always only ever their money as the EU were proposing an end to Tax Havens and that businesses would be taxed at source of income, not wherever they smuggle the money off to, or in the case of a tax haven, pay nothing at all.

When a similar idea was proposed by Corbyn, he immediately became public enemy Number 1 in the Tory Press.

It's been Labour policy for a wee while now to end "non dom" status. When Corbyn and McDonnell talked about finally doing it in government though Murdoch had to turn his attack dogs on them. Because it would probably damage his malign influence considerably.

I know a local painter/decorator who got done by HMRC for doing some cash in hand work (to pay for his daughters specialist care), meanwhile at the top its a complete free for all. It's just all so unjust.

Sunak has been MP, Minister and Chancellor of the exchequer over a long period of time with an American Green Card. Its not xxxx on.

Things were only gonna get worse for Sunak. Look at his story last week and dissect it, step by step. Then see how rampantly dishonest this Chancellor has been with the public. The Independent initially raised the issue re Akshata Murrty having non-dom status thereby paying no UK tax on global income earned elsewhere. Pay her £30k to the Exchequer and all OK eh. The first official Brit govt response was silence. Then the "dam broke". Sunak finally reacted - smears and "dirty tricks" mentioned in his formal statement. In the bad old days, smears were attached to someone peddling falsehoods. Sunak perceived a smear as someone accurately reporting someone's tax status. And then distortions followed re why Murty was registered as a non-dom. Then Sunak insinuated his wife was a victim of bureaucratic circumstances beyond her control - absolutely laughable and another lie!! He also implied his wife was a citizen of India and because India doesn't allow its citizens to hold the citizenship of of another country simultaneously, according to Brit law, his wife is treated as non-dom. This was another lie - the words "is treated" suggest her tax status happened to her - a distortion of the truth. It's a choice to obtain and retain. I could go on, but the Murty U-turn sums it all up as an utter exposure of their true intentions - an absolute mess and a political shambles from his personal point of view.

Now the Met cops announce there will be another 30 fixed penalty notices issued re "Partygate" violations. Johnson hopefully on this list although I personally expect the Tory "cover-up", to save him from further scrutiny and criticism, to continue as most of us can see what they are up to with all the cynical orchestrations to their officials (and media/press) up n down the country until the local council elections hopefully "blow them away" big time. It looks like it is certainly gonna go that way in Scotland with record SNP gains predicted through damning OPs that show a massive disdain for Tories with a huge lack of any kinda moral compass or principle whatsoever - a "spineless" group of people who take us for fools and deserve what they are gonna get from the voters up here. I notice Johnson recently "went walkabout" in Kyiv. Amazing when one considers he has never come close to attempting such a risky move in an antagonistic "foreign country" called Scotland lol And they continue to attack our Scot government and the SNP, been doing it for months while Johnson and his cabal are literally ignored!! That says it all!!
