European Union Referendum - In or Out??
With this government you can get arrested for walking across the street to Morrisons or Asda and complaining about what they are charging for spuds/milk/cheese/yoghurt outside said premises in a loud and provocative way.

Complaining about the war in Ukraine in Red Square has a similar effect as likewise our government doesn't do criticism. Hence they want to sell off Channel 4. Bodgit Johnson the Iceblock who didn't want to turn up to answer questions (like he ever has) was part of the problem in Bodgit's eyes. Being held to account is the other issue, Tories don't do that, in case it escaped you.

I think the pandemic has been one of the big factors why people have not protested in the way we've seen previously like eg the Iraq war. Climate change protest was significant, but not as big as some previous huge demos. Patel's attempts to suppress criticism and the right to protest have IMO not been fully tested yet. That will come as more n more people become pissed off with their lot and the role of a totally uncaring/unscrupulous govt that really needs to be brought down in a General Election. IMO that aint gonna happen and demonstrations ought to ensue sooner or later. Also note the world (and lotsa folk in this country!) will soon know what a lying cretin Bodgit truly is when every word uttered by Tories at COP26 will be proven to be false. IMO this is a huge issue that has been politically "tucked away". IT AINT GONNA GO AWAY AND I GENUINELY BELIEVE MILLIONS N MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL BE MOBILISED IN THE REALISATION THAT NOT ENOUGH IS BEING DONE. It's already happening in parts of Europe where many people are becoming more interested in the fight to avert climate change compared with their view of electing governments that are not delivering on their promises while the war in Ukraine is cynically being used as a "smokescreen".

How good a report is this one questioning the wonderful Brexit promises by Rees-Mogg and Johnson bogusly claiming that families up n down the country will experience a great improvement to their cost of living. Both called out as liars by people who are already affected by the opposite of what these chancing clowns promised and then they insisted Brexit had nowt to do with it!!!? NOT SO AND THE LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS ALSO "CALLING THEM OUT"!!! A lotta people up n down the country really need to waken up to the biggest con/lie in Brit political history!! Today's latest revelation re the huge annual increase in shopping prices is the latest blow to lotsa families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet.

We are now experiencing serious labour shortages in certain sectors of the economy.

Meanwhile Rees moggy is saying that Enforcing post-Brexit checks, “would have been an act of self-harm”. I mean what the actual xxxx ?????  We spent billions setting up ports to enable these checks to happen Laugh   He then even had the brass neck to admit that brexit is going to cost importers billions.

The extreme irony of course is that now we are more reliant on EU rules than we were as members....And of course this whole fiasco stemmed from Russia and in keeping the londongrad laundry open. Then Ukraine happens and we have to do a complete 360 with the eyes of the world on us.....but Clowntramp did it as slowly and half heartedly as possible so his mates had plenty of time to withdraw funds.

The whole thing is beyond parody and derision now.

Ditto Sebastian Vettel!! We've been talking about this failure (and cover-up!!) for months n months and I'm surprised the BBC didn't attempt to erase the mere mention of a failed Brexit plus "partygate"!! Is that not the BBC remit now?? Remember that famous "oven-ready deal" uttered by a serial liar named Johnson who shouldn't be leading the Brit govt any more but guess what - THE SHAMELESS C### IS DOING EXACTLY THAT!! Thumb down

Also do you believe a word the Tories say any more??? Up here in Scotland, I still can't believe only 55% of Scots support Scotindy!!!! That support should be well above 60%!! IMO just give the vote to our younger and next Scot generations (pro 75%) who have no qualms re pushing for self-determination and cannae understand why people are even stupidly debating the obvious - that Scotland, a sovereign country, should've been independent a long time ago.

The europeans do not want us back anyway. The UK is FUBAR now, it will continue to rot from within while the tories continue their endless quest in repositioning public money from where it should be going, into their pockets and of course their mates offshore accounts.

It's the only reason the UK exists now. Thats yer lot.

Yep!! And from a Scottish perspective, we have a massive opportunity to go our separate way and stick up two fingers to a govt in another country that has continually snubbed us well after we voted against Brexit and they will continue to attack our devolved govt through their usual shameless and complicit press/media and political channels. The "starting gun" will be fired shortly with a prospectus on the way forward for Scotland towards Scotindy and we are at a good starting point with over 50% favouring self-determination and a big chunk of the "middle ground voters" who regard themselves as "proud to be Scottish" and can be convinced. Note Scotland would be the wealthiest country to ever become independent since 1945 and a lotta folk in Scotland don't even realise that fact as well as many other advantages/benefits plus the challenges that we'd be taking on as an independent country - BUT WE DO IT ON OUR OWN TERMS, NOT WITH THE APPROVAL FROM ANOTHER ANTAGONISTIC GOVERNMENT WITH NO INTEREST IN SCOTLAND WHATSOEVER.

From Twitter :

Rees-Mogg has published a list of the "most interesting" Brexit dividends. Number two is to "abolish the EU regulations that restrict vacuum cleaner power to 1400 watts".
