Stephen Glass finally sacked!!

KO'd from the Scottish Cup by the "Steelmen" yesterday, 9th in the Scottish Premiership and IMO Glass "talked a good game" for months. The fans also demanding action for months after finally "seeing the light" and the Chairman previously responding that, "This manager is good" and "All will come good eventually"??? Not so! Glass had no great pedigree as a footie manager and was effectively a pal of the owner who is now deservedly "eating humble pie" - WHAT A MESS!!

Was a crazy appointment. Maybe Broony will make the step up now.

I must add that this is another example of ambitious owners (not just AFC) who want to be the ones to figure it all out with a fresh American perspective to discover this hidden value and outsmart the rest of Scottish footie with a left-field appointment, overlooking more qualified candidates closer to home. It hasn't ever worked!!! Glass was a gamble and one that didn't work; I questioned this appointment from the very beginning as did many Dons' fans. Now AFC officials/players find themselves in a worse state than when Glass first "pitched up". IMO the warnings are there to be heeded at Easter Road Stadium too.
