Think the worry is that'll double in the next 2 days, looking at all the information though this strain is milder than the Delta variant and with the help of the boosters it may have some good effect within a week or so.

UK Covid infections almost hit the 100k mark today and still rapidly rising. London the worst hit and hospitals already overwhelmed by the huge numbers. Meanwhile, Johnson and his cabal look "paralysed" and also "shellshocked" by that N Shropshire byelection defeat that didn't surprise most people at all esp after the regular damning revelations exposing Johnson and his govt as the chancers that they have been for such a long time. Their politics "suck" and I hope more n more citizens are starting to waken up to the reality of the situation and the threat they pose to the people and the country.

I think it's time someone should be encouraged to fire a warning shot or two over his shoulders, a misfire between them would be a reasonable excuse as he'd dodge one to his left and another one to his far right. He really is that bad, though even with a good aim it would realistically go through an empty space between his ears and cause no significant damage at all if I'm honest.

Frostie the Brexit Snowman has melted and gone away (subject to a period of notice). They've sat on this for at least a weak apparently but didn't want to poke themselves in the eyes anymore than they already were before North Shropshire went all Lib Dem on Thursday. He's allegedly blaming it on Covid restrictions, but far more likely is the fact that more Brexit shit that he's been painting the walls with is due to kick in come January 1st and a few more little inglunders might have the skin peeled from their eyes regarding the f'up they voted for.
In other news another 900 migrants/refugees crossed the channel today in little boats in freezing cold weather. When asked if Priti Useless would also fall on her sword as a result a Gov Spokesperson is rumoured to have replied, "she'd miss anyway". Meanwhile the daffodil farmers of Cornwall are looking for workers to help pick the spring crop. Now if there were just a few hundred folk somewhere down by the South Coast looking for work that might just be able to help.

I just can't believe this announcement either  What a horrible smirking woman, a political lightweight, a non-entity, who is "taking the piss" (together with other members of this Tory/Brexit govt!!) out of a political system that needs to be seriously overhauled. Don't forget that Frost, another unimpressive Tory non-entity btw, still remains in the HOL picking up his "nice little earnings", compliments of the Brit taxpayer!!
