And the "cheap chat" begins in earnest - Harry Kane commenting in The Scum that he fancies another 50 yard "screamer" against Scotland!!!?? In yer dreams Harry and why is a decent lad like you actually talking to this scum anyway, esp with them convoluting the whole story re England and their racist fans booing their own team! I'd wager a reasonable bet that he couldnae "pull that off" from the centre spot with no goalie located in situ!! Huhhh!!
Anyway, here's an appropriate song dedicated to dear old Harry Kane of England and Tottenham Hotspur!!
Just shadap a ur face Harry!! Laugh

No chance Kane will score from 50yards..

...but i might have £1 on Pickford to score from a kick from his own box Wink Big Grin

Don't lump us all in the same boat fella. Yes we have a sizable few that boo taking the the knee but the majority support the players stance on this. Hence you could hear more clapping and cheers than boos before the Croatia game.

Well said Wakey! It just confirms why the majority of people in the likes of Liverpool hate The Scum with a passion and for obvious reasons!!

Wasn't that long ago, but watching the tv coverage you'd think the last game was when Gazza scored.

Mate, the way they were talking about Italy last night you would think they were plucky underdogs here to take on the big boys. They are the xxxx big boys  Laugh Then he went on about how they were lucky to play every game at home, without even a hint of irony.

The delusion of the English media knows no bounds. Italy have been to 9 finals and won 5 of them, they are way more successful at this level than England.

"served warning they are here to take on the big boys" .... I mean seriously  Laugh  Laugh  Laugh

The Gazza goal was in the game the last time we played each other in a major tournament wasn't it? I assume that is why they will be showing it. Its definitely a goal I can watch over and over again!!

I don't get the wall to wall coverage like you guys do but from what I saw going into this tournament everyone seemed to be talking about the clear favorites being France and Belgium, while Italy should never be classed as plucky underdogs was there any real thought that they might win the whole thing? I think all the teams playing home games have an advantage, but it won't always work that way. Not sure I like the way its being played with some teams playing in their home stadium but with Covid still around it makes some sense and its been great to have fans, and more importantly real fan noise, at all the games!!

I don't know anyone who likes the Sun, I am always amazed it is still high up the circulation charts!! But then again I don't know anyone aside from my parents who regularly buy a newspaper these days.

Spot on, SCO, when I first started working in the early 80s, I used to see loads of my male colleagues with the Sun. I'd say that had changed by the mid 90s and definitely by the early 2000s. I don't know where it gets its circulation from, either!

I'll change that estimate re 20k Tartan Army fans converging on London. Current observations of droves and droves of Scotland supporters arriving in their 1000s have dramatically changed that estimate to well over 30k Scotland fans pouring in to London. Scotland's team hotel grounds and public streets in London already teeming with 1000s of Scottish well-wishers and if any Scotland player had any doubts re the importance of this match, they will be dispelled beyond doubt by the time the team coach is traditionally escorted and cheered on to Wembley by 1000s of Tartan Army fans plus the requisite Scottish pipers!! There is one thing the English support will never match up to and that is the colourful and stunning display of the Scottish fans in full flow!! Thumb up The difference is "night and day" but I'm biased of course lol. THIS MATCH IS NOT JUST ABOUT WINNING 3 PTS AND MOST FELLOW TARTAN ARMY FANS KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYING!! GOOD LUCK SCOTLAND - MAY THE GODS PLUS THE EURO REFEREE (NO WEMBLEY "HOMER" PLS!!) BE WITH US!!! Thumb up

A boost for Scotland fans tonight! Stevie Clarke confirming Kieron Tierney is fit to play v England! Thumb up However, I must say I don't believe the Arsenal player is 100% fit! Clarke would be a good poker player - even his eyebrows didnae move once during this media interview/update lol!! As "cool as a cucumber" oor Stevie!! Re Tierney I thought he was badly missed v the Czech Rep mainly because he is currently Scotland's best player and he attacks a defence differently with sheer pace from a deep mid position. That kinda dynamic style of play was sorely missed at Hampden Pk last Monday.

Looks like there's a possibility this match could be played in a rainstorm tonight!! Now that would be interesting if it turned out to be a typical Scot Cup tie with lotsa rainy Scottish weather pouring doon on Wembley. I don't think it would turn the pitch into a quagmire. It would certainly make it more intriguing.

Well looks like the good news is that Mctominay drops back to CB with Hanley and Tierney , and gilmour and McGregor come into the centre of the park - big games required from them tonight, particularly the latter.

O'donnell keeps his place sadly, he's an absolute liability. And I'd have found some way to play forrest instead of him or Dykes....

England have changed both full backs with James and Shaw replacing Walker and Trippier.....Rest of the team is as was against Croatia.

Just realised the huns got next to nothing for Gilmour....meanwhile he's picking up CL medals Laugh Laugh Laugh
