Snoots, you've either got

one helluva record collection,
a database of every track Johnny Plee ever played on radio (anywhere), with one helluva personal recall or some search algorithm that GCHQ should probably know about or you should sell to them and retire on the proceeds,
a memory for stuff that never, ever got played on Drive Time or Every Bloody Morning stuck on the M(*) Traffic Jam time radio.

(*) add your favourite number here, use of A roads allowed too if necessary.

In my honest opinion, from surreptitious use of the wee little illicit tranny during school lunch times in the 70's, to Drive Time and onwards more recently on Radio 2, to the rest of what he now presents with his missus - you've to go a long way to beat the dulcet tones and musical knowledge of a certain Johnny Walker (showing my age there a bit).

Anyway, enough of the nostalgia, back to the thread.

We just had In the Army Now - ironic given Mr. Rossi is all over the airwaves plugging his latest venture, so .......

Haha. Loved John Peel. And Kid Jensen. Great tunes in the late 70s, early 80s.
Not much of a record collection these days though. Had tons of vinyl back in the day. Tried to get them all back on Spotify.
As for recollection. It's old Mr Google I'm afraid.

Good, and sad, to know I'm not the only one using Google, but I was having visions of Yorkshire's greatest ever vinyl library collection spread across the broad acres of Barnsalee and District Council for a minute there. (Or the walls of a quiet little semi up the back end of a cul-de-sac).

Spam Song - Monty Python

Spam was always canned - and used to have that funny little key to open the can.
