I don't see why FIFA would be much of a problem if there was a will to do it, there are already welsh clubs playing in England and an English one playing in Scotland. I don't think they would care much going by what else is happening just now, the real opposition would come from some of the English clubs who rightly wouldn't be happy.

Johnson is just an opportunist arsehole, I don't see how moving the big 2 from Scotland into an English league set up is going to somehow quell nationalism in Scotland, for a start they would be moving one of the focal points of unionism in Scotland out the equation.

IMO Rangers should've been challenged and fined years ago by FIFA for using football as a political stage for unionism - as blatant as it gets and totally unacceptable as it is a clear violation of FIFA rules/regs. UEFA have previously "nailed them" on a number of occasions re their sectarian poison but IMO not enough!!! Thumb down

I never said it on this Sb board at the time of this revelation but I found Johnson's intervention to be odd in the fact that his politics and preaching re capitalism and the success of selfishness didn't tie in with his response at all!! I found it to be highly suspicious!! After all, he is a scumbag of a "shapeshifter"!! I can't be the only Sb member to have viewed it in this way!

The way things are shaping up with Cummings and all the sleaze allegations, I wonder if this is the tories planning to hit the reset button and move Boris on.

So it transpires Johnson happy to see "bodies piled high" to avoid a third lockdown. IMO the end of the road coming soon for him. Confirmed to be the scumbag that most people knew he was anyway. Also great news from a Scottish perspective. I don't see a Scottish electorate ignoring what I listened to this morning and not taking the appropriate action! What is also astounding is that the bbc is reticent re this revelation - hardly a word uttered by the national broadcaster while this sensational news is debated on other media airwaves.
