Johnson watch activated - the nightmare begins for the UK!!
Anyway, can I ask how this thread has become another Scottish independence discussion?

Nobody's playing football north of Berwick?

Oh hang-on, it's political this one.

I've no objection to slagging off Boris but, with the best will in the world, I don't think we can blame him for Salmond.

That's a good point, theo. If Scotland gets independence, do we get Berwick Rangers back? Whistle

You can take Glasgow rangers as well.

More to the point, do we take back Berwick on Tweed because it is on our side of the border?
Btw the the initial Salmond/Alba Party threads should've been duly moved to the "Nicola Sturgeon starts the process of Separation" thread - kinda carried on to a lengthy debate.

Likely me Whistle - but there's so many Indy threads running I can nae keep up wi'em ahl, nay mind find 'em ahl. This ain't the first reference in this thread by the way.

Maybe we need a new route map out of the home page - if only I knew where the home page is. Huh

I'd prefer Berwick Rangers, I'm sure they'd go down well in our Prima Donna League and I'm not sure that the way Rangers seemingly pay their players meets our FFP regs. You'd need to check out how QPR, Direby and Sheff Weds organise their finances for that one.

They couldn't afford to play in any of our other leagues given the travel. Then again, how far is it to Inverness/Ross County compared to West Brom or Wolves Tongue ?

Carlisle pretty much consider games in Lancashire (or against us in recent seasons) as derby matches these days, I'm sure they wouldn't mind trundling across the A7 on a snowy Boxing Day or New Years Day for a couple of hours for a , er, new derby (????) match.

Might have known it would have been that divisive rabble rouser Theo McLuddite trying to force more independence arguments down our throats. Laugh

Down with that kind of thing !

It could get me barred from the thread (or more) but, in my defence, m'ladyship

1. I was using it as a reference point v the Brexshit referendum i.e. I was Bodgit bashing
2. at no point did I mention rocket science, unlike one of our former misogynistic posters.
3. I can't be held responsible for the opinions of those that followed my post with their opinions.
4. We've won twice (in the footy) so far, and Scotland haven't, but that isn't relevant to this thread either
6. How did football get into this political thread? - Oh that might have been me again - no it was Snoots.
5. Next? Whistle  Tongue

All we are saying - (ask John Lennon) is you can't put a 6' fence up on every thread and where it leads to but you can guide it back to whence it originally came from (without a sledge hammer).

Now, who knows owt about shifting big ships stuck in a little canal? Oh, apparently they've now fixed that one.
