I saw a bloke in Wakefield this morning wearing shorts, in the snow, walking his kids to school.
Couldn't believe my eyes. Yes, the school was open. Smartass

At long last, great to see Piers Morgan being given "a taste of his own medicine" on GMB by another presenter re his attitude and clear dislike of Meghan Markle - totally "put in his place" and just couldn't "stomach" what he regularly "dishes out" to many unsuspecting targets. Eventually storming out of the GMB studio and returning to his seat later on but clearly humbled and not happy. Hours later he announces his resignation!!! What a test of true character - FAILED!! No doubt there are other media jobs to be had by a "big mouth" like Piers as there are new media outlets out there that he could poss grace with his abrasive style of presentation/confrontation. Maybe he'll join that moron of a Union protagonist, Andrew Neil, a French resident who derides his home nation, Scotland, at every opportunity and gets paid lotsa money to bogusly broadcast his poison in the lead up to another Scottish election. Prob better to avoid that kinda shit Piers. There are easier and more honorable gigs than that!

Don't like the bloke but oddly he's been one of the few in the main stream media who criticised the the Johnson government for their pathetic handling of the pandemic.

I don't like Piers Morgan either, but if he had contained his criticism to the pathetic, stage-managed way the "interview" was conducted, he would have had my total support. Megan - (dramatic actressy pause) "concern about how dark his skin might be" (another dramatic actressy pause) Oprah - "What?" (yet another dramatic pause). Totally false in my considered opinion.

But he couldn't do that as his celebrity interviews are conducted in exactly the same cosy, old-pals-act manner.

He came out with more contemptible remarks this morning to clearly draw a "captive audience" - right up his street!! Also is he he a rabid Royalist or it just a charade???? Apparently previously "ghosted" by Meghan and never forgot such an affront lol!! Laugh These things happen Piers! Rumours already arising that he could indeed be getting a new gig with Rupert Murdoch - will he "shapeshift" to another type of big-mouthed character who will ultimately draw that "captive audience" that he craves to suit that abrasive persona that he has developed down the years?

I'm not a fan but he often says what others are thinking. That the other night was a performance. It's ironic that Americans are up in arms about racism when a lot of them wanted a white supremacist in charge. The way they've done it, it's wishy washy hearsay. The royals in general and the Queen in particular are the only ones with their dignity in tact. I'm not interested in furthering the Sussex brand which has to be the motive for a lot of this. Anything that's true should have been dealt with in a more dignified manner.
