Johnson watch activated - the nightmare begins for the UK!!
Unfortunately, over the last 8 months it's now become normal life.

Well, the World Beating App that still hasn't been delivered, 6 months on we've still got the Hotel California App. The Oven Ready, easiest deal in the history Trade Deals that still hasn't been made let alone signed, the constant, almost daily at one point, promises made yesterday that were turned on their heads today and the Government's ability to turn piles of gold into piles of sh!t on an hourly basis might give you the confidence to believe they are talking BS again.

Speaking of which, where are we with Operation Moonsh!t again? Who's got most of the moolah from that without actually having done anything so far?

The ulster unionists are a funny bunch of maniacs. Sammy Wilson in particular looks like he's permanently involved in some closing time rammy.

Driving back home tonight, Radio 2 news it was reported we (we?, you mean the Government) don't know when the next batch of AV will be delivered from Belgium. Well no great surprise when Dover and Calais will be constipated with thousands of trucks wanting to go one way or the other from 12:01 am 1st january. However - the traffic jams are not the issue.

The approval we've given for the vaccine --------- is for one batch of the vaccine. If we want another, we have to approve the next batch all over again. Feckin' world beating bullshitters telling us half a bloody story, yet again.

How dull can they be to believe that this would not come out of the woodwork faster than a High Speed 2 land grab?

And to add to this bullshit we discover the latest revelation that Pfizer has been given protection by the Brit govt from any libel claim. What concerns me is the fact that nobody in PfizerBio or the Brit govt wants to come forward with an official statement to explain this position. May I add that I certainly know a number of folk who share a common sentiment that they are gonna defer any move towards being vaccinated until they see how all the "guinea pigs" fare in the months ahead with a particular interest in any long-term effects, if any exist. A big word, "trust", enters the conversation, but in derogatory terms.

Well - they've now decided the guinea pigs are going to be in the Care Homes again, rather than in the NHS hospitals. Who's going to miss another 30,000 - 50,000 owd'uns when we can't afford to lose another 30,000 nurses?

You can already see 90% of the vaccines going to waste. There isn't a care home anywhere that needs the thick end of 900 vaccines in a week. So some superspreader will be running round as many care homes as possible, vaccinating owd folk against a virus that they bring with them and provide free of charge to see if the vaccine works.

And you just know there will be a 3rd wave in jan/feb that is going to hamper the whole thing considerably.

My company has told us to work from home now until June, thats if there is still a business to operate after Brexit!

Pretty much the same over here, I am traveling a bit, mainly where I can avoid flying but essentially I have been working from home since March and expect that to be the case until April at least. I am lucky that the UK company I work for has so far not let anyone go and we are only about 10% down on our 2019 numbers, we spend a lot of our time doing virtual meetings with customers and training and making sure we are ready to go once we can start traveling again but this has also caused us to stop and think about whether we need to travel as much as we used to. Time will tell if this will change the way we operate.

It will be interesting to see how the future looks work wise. I'd say now that organisations have paid so much for technology to enable home working and flexible working its unlikely they are going to row back on that now. I think remote working is here to stay. Big offices are going to be scaled right back I think.
