Pulis officially appointed as our new manager. Not my first choice but he may just be what we need to get us out of the mire we are currently in.

How long his is contract ? It doesn't say on the official site ? I'm hoping he's gone in after safety is confirmed and we can get someone more inspiring on the eye !!

I guess we can look forward to a lot of 0-0 and 1-0 wins or losses and should try to get some dosh for Bannan in January.
From Dc’s point of view I agree that staying up this season takes priority over attractive football but not quite sure how such a hodgepodge of a squad we have is capable of playing Pulisball I’m sure Flint will be first on the team sheet if and when he is fit again. Onwards and upwards to 21st

Yep maddix cheer up this is the end off Bannan all managers previous have been tricked into picking the team around the little c..unt !
Pulis at least will get rid off the wanker ! He will also realise that trying to play down the flanks with the shit we've got like harris and palmer is no go from day one !! He will want a sound defence aswell meaning goodbye van Larry odubongo and Lee's ! Not sure what he'll want upfront though ?? I'm guessing windass will be in the hole like he should have been anyway and kachunga will get a chance to prove it not prove along with either Marriot or Rhodes which leaves pattersons position in doubt again I'm guessing he's going to be fighting with windass for the hole position! To add Westwood will be back in goal ...scratch that he can't until the new year (sigh)

There is a provision for re registering Westwood now ... can't remember the exact in and outs but if Pulis wants him ...he CAN register and play him !!

He'll be straight back in the team then because they've worked with each other before I do believe !
Hell also be looking for a proper defence which will rule out van Larry and odubongo plus he won't play the stupid flanks which again will mean an end to harris ! Palmers going to have to sort himself out as well because pulis won't take any of his defensive positional fluff ups ! My guess is he will use Penney and reach as lateral midfield but God knows who he will put in the middle ? He'll be having none of bannan controlling the game faffing around shite ! Some good us going to come out if this but I just don't see us making the next step up ! |
