Nicola Sturgeon finally begins the process of separation!

As expected, the Scottish Parliament votes against the UK Internal Market Bill by a massive 90 votes against the bill v 28 votes for it - nobody fooled by the content presented in this international law-breaking piece of Brexit/Tory skulduggery - let the "fun" begin when they attempt to "ram it down our throats", a case of "see ya in a Scottish law court of our choosing"!!

Scottish Labour's Alex Rowley said the bill was a "full on attack on the existing devolution settlement", saying "we will not give support to any measures that reduce and constrain the competence of the Scottish Parliament".

Finally!!!

At last, a Government Minister tells students to get a grip. Unfortunately it's in Sweden, but I live in hope.

And on the subject of the virus itself, no amount of restrictions, funding and testing will defeat the virus. They're all very useful in coping with the fall-out, but only full compliance with the basic guidelines (FACTS, etc) will win the day.

Its human beings here Ritchie, we are social creatures and not designed for this and not really designed to avoid virus's like this one either.

The restrictions basically buy us some time before a vaccine is available. I really think we will be struggling to do another one after this one though, otherwise there isn't going to be an economy of note left to come back to never mind the damage to peoples health elsewhere.

Very true jim, but surely we can be sociable and still follow the FACTS guidelines. It's not really that difficult if you're willing to do it. Far too many of us are not willing to try.

Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE IS COMING - PASS ON THE MESSAGE!!!

Also note 75% of Scot voters back independence if the economic case is proved - massive support just waiting for that extra assurance and note we have a strong economic case that is contrary to the unionist bullshit (GERS stats etc) that has been uttered down the years.

In (my) local news, a party returned from a wee jolly to the aforementioned Blackpool and are now responsible for 17 positive cases. If that wasn't bad enough, one woman was a home carer and, despite not feeling well, went to her work.

To be quite honest, words fail me regarding the moronic behaviour of such a person. It's little wonder that cases are getting out of hand.
