I don't bother to concern myself, cos there is nothing I can say or want, will change what will happen. And so even though I think what i would like to happen, sit back and wait hoping its a good deal for the club.

I think we need a quality young CB to replace McAuley and improve upon Dawson - I see we have been linked with Celtic's Virgil Van Dijk who would be perfect. We also desperately need a right winger and I think Lennon would be a quality addition.

I don't think we will let Saido go, even if we do a swap deal would be extremely unlikely.

I agree that we definitely need some pace in the CB role - a new younger, faster CB has been needed for some time.
Not quite the issue it was last season now we've got more mobile FBs on both sides, but I think we can still be caught out down the middle with lack of pace.
What's the low down on the Celtic guy??

I disagree that we need a fast CB, look at arguably the two best CB pairings of recent years Terry and Carvalho and Ferdinand and Vidic. None of those were blisteringly quick. You don’t need to be quick if you have got a good sense of positioning.
