@NHSCOVID19app
Hi Damian,
If your test took place in a Public Health England lab or NHS hospital, or as part of national surveillance testing conducted by the Office for National Statistics, test results cannot currently be linked with the app whether they’re positive or negative.
So as this gentleman found out - if your test took place in an NHS lab it doesn't get recorded on Boris's world beating 'NHS' app.

It has nothing to do with the NHS. The app was created by Serco and the tests are run by Serco. Yet a lot of people are blaming the NHS because the Tories have called it 'NHS Test and Trace' and 'NHS App'. The Tories know what they are doing by naming it that, make it look like its the NHS's fault, piss off the public, then float the idea in the media about how the NHS couldn't cope during the crisis etc and then start talking about looking at alternative ways of health care e.g Private insurance based systems. NHS gets sold off to health insurance companies.

One must ask, "Where are the senior NHS officials to defend their position in this T&T farce"? Or is there a huge element of collusion in this conspiracy!!?

The huge element of collusion is between the Tories and the Tory press. Senior NHS Officials like any Whitehall mandarin deemed to be telling the truth, er, speaking out of line with Official Government BS is fired on the spot.

Labour ahead by 3 points in the latest polls. First time since June last year that a poll has had labour ahead.
The writing is on the wall for bunter.

Doesn't mean anything. The next general election is 4 years away and a lot can happen in 4 years. I very much doubt Johnson will be PM and leader of the Tories come the next election, it will be Sunak or Gove in charge.
Labour have no policies at the moment and there not saying much at the moment when it comes to policies because the minute they say something or announce a policy then they will be shot down by the media and it will give the Tories ammunition at the dispatch box.
Johnson wants to get rid of the 5 year fixed term and go back to how it used to be where the PM could call a general election at anytime in 5 years, if that happens and the Tories call an election before 2024 then Labour need to be ready and they need policies.

Nah, it means something.
Boris's departure is inevitable after Brexit but if this continues it might well speed it up. Why? Because labour as a party have now finally caught up with starmers popularity in the nation. Remember the tories had a 26 point lead 6 months ago.
There is no point in Starmer going for policy at the moment really, it will just be drowned out in all the Covid and Brexit noise. He's best to hold off on that for as long as possible and in the meantime carry on doing what he's doing so well.... Exposing the tories mistakes on both whilst at the same time supporting them in the house - all wrapped in a Union Jack of course.
It might not be anything revolutionary politically but labour finally have someone who is ruthlessly engaged with winning first and foremost. It is what it is.

That 26 point lead was almost entirely down to Brexit and the public being so tired fo the whole thing, people had had enough of it all and just wanted it done with. Boris will get it done one way or another, then we will see where the party’s stand in the polls when Brexit is finally removed from the table. As Jim says, Labour are better just harassing the Tories and calling them out for the shit they are doing, no point in policies if you have no power to get them to a vote, that time will come later.
Labour, like the Democrats over here, need to get much more ruthless and cut throat when it comes to what they say and do. Doing the Supposed right thing all the time doesn’t win you elections, you have to sometimes do things that are purely in your own party’s interests some times. The Dems need to remember this if they win power over here, they need to deal with the electoral college and the Supreme Court or else they will be back to square one at the next election. Its the same for Labour.
