Johnson watch activated - the nightmare begins for the UK!!
I listened to Robert Buckland, the UK Justice Secretary, saying that he wouldn't resign if the UK broke an international law that he didn't agree with. Imagine the carnage if the general public took the same view and didn't obey laws that they didn't agree with. The buffoon should resign right now after coming out with this dangerous nonsense.

Tell you what Ritchie if I'm stopped speeding I'm gonna say sorry officer but i only broke the law in a 'very specific and limited' way. See how that goes down. Laugh

Said it before on here many times but the tories are ripping the piss now. They have an 80 seat majority and are engaging in boundary changes in England before the next vote. They are going to be very, very hard to unseat - and they know it.

I'll just add to that end bit by saying they will continue with "ripping the piss" until they arrive at a point where they are unseated by the very people who they have been "ripping the piss" out of. Then what happens is they leave all the damage behind them, JOB DONE. And the new govt, a Tory one AGAIN, picks up the pieces to try and sort out the mess but Brexit has been achieved and another EU referendum will not be allowed to happen for donkey's years!! The shambles continues but it suits these Tory bastards!!! Thumb down

Note both these stories which have been previously debated on this board. Dilution of human rights and demonising refugees and migrants - both stories go "hand in hand" with each other and they expose the fascists that are now resident in this Brit govt who will continue with much more of this unacceptable shit. I suggest if anybody doubts this, please read old publications on the rise of fascism in the likes of Italy in the 1930s when Mussolini came to power - the political techniques and narrative are the same!!! YOU'D THINK WE'D LEARN FROM THIS HISTORICAL FACT(S) PARTICULARLY WHEN LOTSA PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY LOST FAMILY MEMBERS FIGHTING AGAINST FASCISM ON BATTLEFIELDS THROUGHOUT EUROPE!!!

From todays news:

"The internal market bill is causing particular difficulty for lawyers in the Conservative party - many of whom are worried they may not be able to practice law again when they leave parliament if they vote for this bill..."

"Huge row" breaks out inside UK Govt as Trade Team negotiating UK-Japan trade deal agrees to stricter state aid rules than UK team negotiating UK-EU trade deal is prepared to agree to.

This has also led Japan to ask for "clarification" from UK govt regarding deal.

Thousands of people with COVID-19 are taking tests that will never be analysed, warn government docs marked "official sensitive"

Our "world beating" testing programme has a 185,000 swab backlog and is so stretched it's sending tests to labs in Italy and Germany. (the irony) Most UK laboratories are clearing fewer tests than their capacity, as they are hit by “chaos” in supply chains, per the leak. The govt claims it has capacity for 375,000 tests a day
But the actual number of people being tested for coronavirus is closer to 62,000 a day.

No surprises that the government is lying their arses off about testing. The companies involved in running this 'NHS' scheme are all paying tory ministers like Owen Patterson huge amounts of money to get the gig unchallenged and making a complete c*nt of it.

Even in a time of national crisis these xxxx are filling themselves at the trough. Scum.

And the farce/shambles continues regardless. The word "powerless" must be lodged in the brains of millions n millions of citizens who are watching and listening to this outrageous political skulduggery and we can do nothing about it, not even turn up en masse in London to vehemently protest at what is being "pulled" with impunity - never witnessed anything like this in a life time of many momentous events, some good and some bad. Wrong government, wrong politics!!! Thumb down

Great speech from 'red' Ed Milliband tonight, standing in for Starmer who is self isolating. Good to see finally someone in the commons rip Johnson up for arsepaper. Been a long time coming !

Watched it, loved it!!! Thumb up Johnson totally exposed as a lying, conniving bastard AGAIN when asked to stand up and refer to the damning WA clause that he tried to use in blaming the EU for forcing his govt to act in this crass way!! He "sat on his hands" and meekly couldn't answer Milliband's question - no evidence and totally humiliated!!

A Tory revolt ? IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO DAMAGE A MAJORITY TORY GOVT BUT IT REALLY SHOULD BE SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO BOLSTER A UNIFIED OPPOSITION VOTE IN PARLIAMENT!!! What a shambles and a betrayal of proper moral/ethical values!!

'Q: So will you commit to reciprocal tariffs?'

Boris at todays commons liaison committee.

'Of course, says Johnson. There will be tariffs. The schedule has been published.'

'Q: Reciprocal tariffs?'

'Yes, says Johnson.'

'Johnson says the UK will impose reciprocal tariffs on EU goods in the event of there being no trade deal. At one point the UK said it would not impose tariffs, regardless of what the EU did.'

There you have it folks. Food prices are about to go up..... That said I'm honestly not sure he understands what a reciprocal tariff means....Seriously. That aside his lack of knowledge about his job is appalling. He clearly has no detail about the Bill he has just presented to Parliament. It's actually humiliating for the nation that this idiot is PM.
