Partick Th and Hertz lose their arbitration case!!!
#1
"Hot off the press" - arbitration goes against both footie clubs and bad news for the Jags and Hertz fans to mull over!! Even any form of compensation is doubtful and the words "force majeure" came to mind from the very beginning when Budge and Deans started whining about all the issues that were not Budge's or HMFC's fault!! Force majeure normally applies to contract obligations or insurance policies that can be declared void due to unforeseen natural disasters/crises. These clowns should have read the rules from the very beginning incl going to arbitration instead of a civil law court! I suspect they may get some form of compensation out of leniency rather than any formal obligation to do it. However, they may be forced to pay the costs of such a flawed exercise in which they just "didn't do their homework" in gleaning the facts as well as alienating many people in Scottish footie.

Butbutbut Leslie deans said they would win MILLIONS in compensation....... xxxx off ya arsehole. Even the QC they selected for the panel sided with the league - that tells you there was no wrongdoing.

To think budge wanted every other club in Scotland to pay them 190k each just because they have been absolutely pish and criminally run for ages Laugh Literally unbelievable.

Despite all the nonsense in the media and the hyperbole and dossiers the league actually did very, very little wrong here despite Doncaster being a numpty, and they made the best of a shite hand in unprecedented times. Arbitration isnae about compromise either as some of the kickback crew seem to think, it's about checking the rules and processes have been carried out correctly, and they have. In fact Deloitte did that earlier anyway.

Now the SFA must really clobber this mob. In fact rangers should be up on a charge as well. Open and shut cases of bringing the game into disrepute and holding clubs ransom at a really difficult time. That hertz brought that to a civil court without responding to the SFAs communication is in itself outrageous and should result in a heavy fine or points deduction.

Bottom line : Budge is an arsehole who doesn't know how to run a football club. She's made a bad situation a 100 times worse.

I must say I'm not a great fan of Neil Doncaster but he has been vindicated and certainly expressed his delight this afternoon after hearing this positive result for the SPFL. Now we await the hearing and subsequent punishments that will be meted out to Hertz when the SFA "beaks" deal with their rule violations.

3 experienced, independent judges went through it and found the league had acted lawfully and correctly and still they can't accept it. Her statement was absolutely bonkers, I'm convinced she isnae right in the head.

The SFA must not hold back on that moron, she must be firmly put back in her box now.

Hearts are following the pathetic example set over the years by their heroes - that's why they're called The DietGers.

Yup - it's all about boycotts, threats and financially punishing clubs in the championship now. Just like the huns did before them.

They can absolutely get fucked. I actually thought Doncaster might have put the boot in more considering the disgraceful way he was hounded and abused but he remained remarkably restrained. The way budge has been going on you would think no club ever got relegated.

Everything that's happened since we shutdown has shown the league made the right call. It was unfortunate for hertz that they were bottom when the league was called but thats the result of being absolutely rotten for ages and is nobody elses fault.

Were Hertz actually bottom of the league???? Lol!! The facts their form was consistently pish and they were indeed bottom of the Premiership were conveniently and consistently omitted from the debate by Budge, Deans, Foulkes, Presley and many other Hertz "hangers on" who all "stuck" to the "offended party" routine much like Sevco did before.

Still have a feeling budge manufactured most of the disputes with the authorities to deflect from her own shambolic management.

Och, those 9 points they would have got from winning their last three games (when they'd got 23 points from the previous 30) would not only have seen them safe but they'd have pipped The Hoops for the Premiership Trophy too. Smartass

Rarely has a team been so badly affected by such a sensible decision. Laugh

Lets face it, Ross County had 3 games against the 3 teams nearest to them to play. Chances of picking up the points to keep them safe and relegate Hearts - pretty bloody high if you ask me. Hearts (W4) had Ross, Aberdeen(W12) and Livingston(W10) to play. Their boys might or might not have been eyeing a spot on the Bonny, Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond, given travel restrictions at the time, but chances are, Hearts would not have suddenly had 7 wins to their name. Far more likely it would have been 18 in the L column. Chances of picking up the 9 points needed and Ross County not getting the one to keep them up - pretty much close to Feck Hall if you ask me. Tilting at windmills comes to mind.

The winner is - the Legal Eagles getting paid silly money to point out the bleeding obvious that some numbnuts can't see with their own eyes.

One of the most truly stupid episodes in Scottish football history, driven to cover up an idiot woman owners failures and aided by a few journalists with nothing else to write about. The SFA should hit them with a points deduction at the very least.

Problem is the hearts fans believed they had a case from the off, because people with the expertise and gravitas of Neil McCann,Leslie Deans, Tom English and Gary MacKay said they did. And of course now that's been annihilated BY EVEN THE QC THEY APPOINTED - the loonball element at gorgie now wants to burn everything to the ground.

Like you say the lawyers must be pishing themselves laughing, money for old rope.
