Wycombe Wanderers have been promoted to the Championship after beating Oxford 2-1 in the playoff final.

After all the controversy of the fact they were even in the playoffs at the expense of Peterborough, its good to see them justify that decision!! They will start as favourites for relegation for sure but they have been a joy to watch in the Playoffs and the do have some decent players. Akinfenwa is a bigger than life character in more than one way, not sure he will be with them next season but it would be good to see someone like him get his day on the pitch in the Championship!! Gareth Ainsworth looks more like a rock star than a football manager but he has done well and maybe he is one to keep an eye on??

Just saw that result. Based on the BBC stats it looked like Oxford dominated and not just the possession one. A good job the pubs are back open. At least they can drown their sorrows a bit before their summer holidays.

He looks like he should be stewarding, but he's so effective. One year older, though, but I've loved watching him on EFL.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Looks like 5 substitutes might become the norm, proposal would need to be voted upon.

The FFP rules are all over the place, a bit like Covid 19 rules, and in favour of keeping the rich clubs rich and marketable. There's many things that individual association's could do, such as banning parachute payments and even ostracising the Premier teams from their lower leagues. It may sound daft but how long would it be before people got bored watching the same 20 clubs in a league that only 3 can win with no relegation ?
FFS I'm already bored with it and watch about zero Premier League games a season (I pay for Sky sports for Cricket and Darts). Hopefully the house of cards will soon tumble down and if some Tuna millionaire wants to spend his money then that's ok with me. After all they allowed the dodgy money from Russia to get Bournemouth into the elite and keep them there.
I could go on but I can't be arsed to continue showing up the hypocrisy of the wankers in charge of everything we do, say or think Good night from me and Good night from him
and complicated

Surprised about that move, figured they were in for a longer project.
