Father Ted is available for us. Laugh

On a more serious note, Baggies about to replace him with Pulis. He could do a good job for us. Thumb up

We've more chance of bozo the clown being our next manager than an ACTUAL manager. Another season tapering out with no investment at the end of it..

Sadly even the piss pot clubs have more ambition than us. We're going nowhere with MM. But who's going to buy us, invest and take us further? Sad

Pity MM won't fork out a big of cash. Seeing as the league is so open this year this would be our best chance of getting into a playoff spot without having to fork out millions. Don't see how MM can't recognise that. Following years we will have spend a lot more.

This year is a chance. Will MM try take it ??

Happy New Year all !!

In short, NO

If he was to go for it, the summer is the time to do it. Bringing players in in January involves paying over the odds for fees. Transfer fees is giving money away when there are plenty of good players out of contract each summer. Money should be put into wages not transfer fees.

Looking just at the league table, you could justify it but watching our performances & guessing the affects of another match against Man City then you wouldn't put more money in.

I agree the summer would have been the time for the signings but the way the league has turned out so far it has offered us an opportunity to get ahead. I am not saying spend big, I'm thinking more of putting more money into wages to get quality players here even on loan for the second part of the season. The likes of say Murray, Maynard, Powell, Lingaard etc. No one expected us to be so close to the play-offs and for MM just to let that slip away to me is foolish. We are hoping to get there rather than trying to put it into our own hands. Baring injuries getting 4 players in could push us there. Next year the 3 sides come down along with the ones that haven't got promoted and Cardiff, Fulham and whoever else got relegated 2014 will be stronger. That will push us further from the play-offs in my view.

This time next year we will look back and go MM should have gone for it then Whistle .

Fooking MM ambition or lack off is really getting on my nerves Angry Angry !!!

I agree that it is an opportunity that might not come up again for a few years. Another Wickham like acquisition could add 12 points to our total, which could mean the Playoffs come May.

The only problem with loan signings is that they don't improve the squad long term so by the summer we are weaker again plus we stand to lose Kirkland, Buxton, Mattock, Loovens, Zayatte, Maghoma, Lee, McCabe, Corry, Semedo, Coke, Maguire, Madine & Nuhui, who are out of contract.
