I'm going for not void as we might look like xxxx champions after no training or tactics maybe the talent will show through this time ..
Think about it the other lesser footballers are drilled into fitness and tactics while our shitbag wasters can't handle it !

Maybe we will actually win the league with none of this ?
Still 10 games to play at kick about !! And if we did chance it we've a new squad to come so it could work out well !

How's that for positive before I drive my car of the nearest pier !

I don't see how you can void the season, for the integrity of football we have to play the final games whenever that may be and however long it takes. Only then can we start to prepare for next season whenever that is. I can't stand the Scousers but they have to win the title this year!!

The irony is that they are going to be begging clubs with rich owners to spend all their money on helping out struggling clubs in the lower leagues. Will this be included in FFP ? Laugh

FFP is truly screwed, clubs have all their usual expenses and no income from tickets and matches. They are going to have to redo all the numbers for that.

It has to be void, surely. With the possibility that it could be over a year before Football resumes normally

To postpone it indefinitely creates far too many issues, contracts of staff and players will expire. Without some sort of transfer market Clubs could be without a senior squad.
Players have left the countries the play in to return to their home countries to be with family. Will they be able to come back anytime soon?
There's also the matter of it screwing up the calendar year which has a knock on effect, will there be a new start and end date to English Football?

Possibly, but you are using a worst case scenario with this lasting over a year. If this goes on for a year then we will have much bigger problems to deal with and half of the FL clubs would have gone bust as well. The contract issue comes in to play if the season goes beyond the end of July, the clubs all have a mechanism to extend players contract by a month if need be.

I also don't think it matters what the knock on effect is. Finish this season whenever you can, we are only talking about 10 games or so, then see where we stand and work out the next season from that point. The whole summer is now empty, the 2022 WC is a winter one so is messing with the calendar already. There are plenty of options to play a shorter season for a couple of years to get it back on track.

I don't think it will last over year, I think the effects of this will not allow any further fixtures within the next 6 months. Thus making it a better idea to wait until the next calender season to start from scratch.

There's no way games will resume by July without issues
