As for the programme. Not rocket science, Nige. The previous one was too thick. A football programme shouldn't be so thick that it has to be perfect bound. It should be 12 pages of A4, folded to A5 and stapled in the middle. Nice size to fit into your back pocket and doesn't take all week to read.
Articles should be of interest to supporters, along the lines of how we do our match threads on here, plus some inside stuff like player interviews and manager's comments. Not too many adverts or corporate stuff.

To be honest, with the programme, I don't think they will be allowed to do away with it. I think, someone might have to clarify this for me but I was under the impression each club was obliged to print a match day programme under FA and FL rules, this goes for all clubs down to Northern Premier League level and its equivalents.

Whilst Clibbo says it doesn't make money I note that now as before with the old programme if you buy it at Canalside it's cheaper than buying it at the ground, how can we sell it cheaper if it's losing money?

I don't buy programmes anymore, but are other clubs having problems selling their programmes or is it just Town, are Town fans just tight as attendances seem to be dwindling a bit too?

The fancy pants issue might have been losing money but a programme like snoots describes must be viable. That's like nearly every club produces and I can't believe they are all doing it at a loss, can you?

No idea mate, I also note that when Clibbo asks if they've bought one and they say no it was free he fails to say that's because they have usually shelled out good money to sponsor the match/ball, upgraded to the expensive White Rose Club or hired one of the Exec boxes which are something like £600 and £800 per game

I think they just have to provide a printed teamsheet; to be honest, I got a few of Gillingham's from a while back and there's not a lot more you need. 20p a time, you could set up a machine to print them automatically like a vending machine if you needed to, and just update the info for every match. Simple.

There's a printers just next door to Canalside than could do the job.
