European Union Referendum - In or Out??
Dominic Raab hails a “cracking deal” for Northern Ireland because it will keep “frictionless access to the single market”

Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

Only that complete fuckwit could dismantle the whole argument for brexit in one sentence. Brilliant!!! Laugh Laugh Laugh

Also I'm sure I am correct in saying that entry into the UK from NI under this Johnson deal literally provides an "open door" to any would be migrant and it is a flaw in this particular proposal that the British gov are willing to ignore!! So much for all the anti immigration preaching that played a big part in ensuring that Brexit would ever happen eh!!!

John Baron let the cat out the bag earlier (see below) when he pointed out that gove and raab are promising that "no deal" is still going to be the outcome. This is why the sudden volte face - not to get "brexit done".

They have no intention of signing up to a free trade deal before 2020. They want the UK to crash out with No Deal and this fake deal is to get round the benn act.

"All I can share with you is this: I am doing my best to persuade colleagues, the so-called Spartans who like me voted three times against Theresa May’s deal, to look at this in a favourable light. Because provided we can get that clear assurance, and I have been given it so far by people like Michael Gove and Dominic Raab, and I’m hoping to get it from the prime minister tomorrow, that we will be leaving after the trade talks, if those trade talks fail up to December 2020, on no-deal terms - as long as we can get that assurance, and I think we have done, then we’ll be supporting the deal tomorrow."

Yep! This has finally been noted by a good number of vigilant MPs incl a leave MP, Oliver Letwin, who is trying to quickly push through a "power of scrutiny" amendment to block (+delay for an extension!) any possibility of these Tory extremists trying to initiate this latest Cummings' "trick" to eventually attain what they have been scheming for all along!!! IMO Cummings is definitely at the forefront of this shit as usual and I think the SNP's encouragement to remove this fascist govt is absolutely "spot on". The problem is they need to unify all opposition benches to do it!! IMO the EU would never favour a free trade deal under WTO terms and these c#### know this as it will possibly give them their "end goal". What is so irritating is how disingenuous Johnson actually is when you watch all the posturing and "acting" that was being "played out" in Brussels on Thursday!! The history of these Tory govt bastards, from the start of the parliamentary session onwards, was so enlightening that any fool can see there is no moral or social compass there whatsoever and MPs like Ian Blackford absolutely right in his regular warnings to parliamentary colleagues that Johnson is not to be trusted and is a cad, a "decepticon", a law breaker, a scumbag alongside the biggest scumbag named Dominic Cummings!!! Listening to Johnson's sham appointee of a Home Secretary, Patel. presenting the usual deceptive, unimpressive defence re the eventual "no deal" insinuations by John Barron and Philip Hammond as well as refuting criticisms from Major and Blair re the govt's NI part of the deal!! But she has a massive black history of misbehaviour and another poor moral or social conscience - another scumbag, one of many!! Lastly, it was curious to listen to Labour supporter and author, Paul Mason, slamming into Labour MPs like Ronny Campbell as "LACKING ANY MORAL FIBRE" by lining up alongside (a Tory scumbag) Johnson to back this shit deal rather than backing his working class constituents in Newcastle who are gonna be "screwed" by this shameless liar of a PM!! This guy is "not taking any prisoners" on this issue!!

Johnson "forced to eat humble pie" again as the Letwin motion wins parliamentary approval!! Therefore an EU extension is in order. What still astounds me re this fiasco is the poisonous narrative and deceit emanating from Johnson and his fascist govt chums to the extent where a lot of them are now being threatened and intimidated in the street as London is teeming with hundreds of thousands of ignored "remain" citizens who are clearly fed up to the back teeth with this consistent govt stance to try to "get their way" only and Johnson actually getting to the pt on his very irritating stance re "I'm still leaving on the deadline 31 October"!! The guy is a shameless Tory shitheid who has "crossed too many red lines" and yet I'm absolutely baffled that there is a significant number of real thickos in England who actually support this clown and his motley crew of fascist "hangers on"!!!!!???? It is like witnessing something coming out of some tin pot dictatorship somewhere in the middle of beyond and yet it is happening in the south of England - unbelievable but true and extremely embarrassing for any observer of any persuasion and sanity!! Also IMO there is definitely a much bigger story re the true intentions of this bunch of unelected RW Brexit cretons and it has nothing to do with the good health of the country at large!! The desperate nature and narrative of these individuals have convinced me that this is a massive con, a deception, a heist on a grand scale and it is a huge story that should be covered and scrutinised by the bbc (NOT!!!) and other news/media agencies who are good at investigative journalism and "well worth their salt" in getting results!!

The DUP take their revenge and Boris has to ask for an extension - despite not signing the letter. What a pathetic cretin of a man. Great speech from Keir Starmer in the house yesterday explaining forensically why this is such a bad deal and will pave the way to 'no deal'

Corbyn and Mcdonnell spent all night prior to the vote trying to keep the labour leave vote 'onside' and it looks like it worked. Indeed it looks like the DUP may well have come to the conclusion that staying in the EU is the only way to keep the UK together.

Now we need some kind of confirmatory referendum of deal v remain. It's getting closer.

Although I'm not a Labour supporter, I agree that Keir S Smith certainly enhanced his credentials as a future reputable leader of the Labour Party. Being an ex reader and assessor of extensive documentation, such as contract docs, tender docs and T&Cs, I was impressed that they exposed the devious little fascist shit heid way that this British govt tried to replace a lot of May's previous texts with what I call "ambiguous open-ended" text to suit a political ideology and favour their own wealthy, unscrupulous backers. As for Johnson not signing that extension letter, IMO I would love to be in a similar CEO-owner situation where I would have no hesitation to drag Johnson out of his office "by the hair" and throw him into the street gutter where he belongs!! You can gather I have no time for this kinda childish behaviour whatsoever and sadly he is not the only one in his Cabinet who seems to be "infected" by this kinda childish behaviour!! HOW ARE THESE EMBARRASSING MORONS ANYWHERE NEAR UK GOVT POSITIONS AT ALL???????????? IT IS A F###### DISGRACE AND AN AFFRONT TO THE INTELLIGENCE OF NORMAL CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY!!!

Now it appears that the Labour Party is backing a second referendum to be attached to any Johnson Brexit deal and looks like they have the numbers to pass a motion with the DUP also "on board" to back it. Looks like "ground hog day" next week with various possibilities such as the Speaker, John Bercow, refusing to allow another British govt move to request another vote on their deal after being defeated by the approved Letwin motion!! OR Bercow allows it and the Letwin motion is approved AGAIN lol!! I briefly listened to that toerag "shady car salesman" named Dominic Raab "spouting off" his usual optimistic shit and convincing nobody with his face absolutely "tripping him". I despise this guy together with the other motley crew of insincere, deceitful bastards who comprise this current despicable British govt!!

While I am comfortable in lambasting Boris Johnson for his childish and antagonistic behaviour regarding his two letters to the EU yesterday, I am intrigued as to how he can justify his stance.

In any article I've read on the Benn Act, it has always been stated that he had to send a letter to the EU requesting a Brexit extension, but I've never read that he had to actually sign it. It appears that he has followed this to the letter.
Text of the Benn Act - (4)The Prime Minister must seek to obtain from the European Council an extension of the period under Article 50(3) of the Treaty on European Union ending at 11.00pm on 31 October 2019 by sending to the President of the European Council a letter in the form set out in the Schedule to this Act requesting an extension of that period to 11.00pm on 31 January 2020 in order to debate and pass a Bill to implement the agreement between the United Kingdom and the European Union under Article 50(2) of the Treaty on European Union, including provisions reflecting the outcome of inter-party talks as announced by the Prime Minister on 21 May 2019, and in particular the need for the United Kingdom to secure changes to the political declaration to reflect the outcome of those inter-party talks.
SCHEDULE
FORM OF LETTER FROM THE PRIME MINISTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL

“Dear Mr President,
The UK Parliament has passed the European Union (Withdrawal) (No. 2) Act 2019. Its provisions now require Her Majesty’s Government to seek an extension of the period provided under Article 50(3) of the Treaty on European Union, including as applied by Article 106a of the Euratom Treaty, currently due to expire at 11.00pm GMT on 31 October 2019, until 11.00pm GMT on 31 January 2020.
I am writing therefore to inform the European Council that the United Kingdom is seeking a further extension to the period provided under Article 50(3) of the Treaty on European Union, including as applied by Article 106a of the Euratom Treaty. The United Kingdom proposes that this period should end at 11.00pm GMT on 31 January 2020. If the parties are able to ratify before this date, the Government proposes that the period should be terminated early.
Yours sincerely,
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”

Now, I can't believe that, knowing Johnson's and Cummings' standards, the people behind the Benn Act would be so naive and foolish as to omit this basic premise of signing the letter. If so, they are the ones who should be on the receiving end of our abuse. Without wanting to prompt another tirade against the Tory Party and it's individual members, can anyone tell me if there is any legal requirement to have the letter signed?

It will be an interesting spectacle in the Scottish Court Of Sessions tomorrow and probably the Supreme Court shortly.
Cabbage is still good for you

I believe the Scottish Court of Session will be focused on Johnson's ensuing behaviour and comments, in formally extending article 50, as an attempt to "frustrate the will of Parliament" and will be deciding if this action was unlawful and against the judgement of the three Scottish Judges, one of whom did actually mention in his summary that this current British PM had no jurisdiction or power to "frustrate the will of parliament". I regard the signing of the letter of extension to be one of common courtesy TBF about it as it is something I and most other courteous and honourable people would do as a matter of accepted protocol anyway. However, an esteemed judge could duplicate and sign this letter if required anyway!!! I'd love to see him humiliated and charged as well as I have lost all patience with these fascist c#### who Labour's Emily Thornberry recently described as "grown up people acting like spoilt children" in an "off the cuff" remark that I agreed with at the time. In fact, what an advert to our children and future generations watching these snobby nosed, posh-spoken public school brats (most of them!!!) making a total mockery of British governance for years to come and very noticeable that EU officials are trying very hard not to "pass judgement" publicly on a childish PM like Johnson who was previously a total disaster of a British Foreign Secretary and deservedly mocked/ridiculed in Euro papers like Die Welt and Le Monde. How anybody can defend Johnson in his current fascist clothes is totally beyond me!!
