Corbyn talking a lot of sense there earlier but it all feels too little too late.

His path is the right one - interim government for 5/6 weeks that leads towards a GE and a new referendum. I don't see why enough MPs cant back him on that one, all this talk of him being a 'divisive figure' doesn't matter right now. What is Boris Johnson but 'a divisive figure'? Corbyn is offering a way out, and most importantly its based upon democratic solutions, the people can vote him right out the door in a matter of weeks!!

There is now a constitutionally sound proposal to do stop 'no deal'. If you don't want to do it, then you have to explain why your dislike of one man trumps your fears of generational level economic damage to this country.

Yep! I agree with that. It is a short term measure but sadly a lotta people with political clout in Westminster, who are against "no deal", wanna use this Corbyn reason to refrain from supporting his proposal!! Swinson appears to be one of them but there are other Tories who really seem to be behaving like school children rather than appreciating the grave consequences of possibly allowing the most unforgiveable political action in living memory!! I still think all these various ideas are wasting time and it looks like Parliament is "sleepwalking" towards a nightmare scenario initiated by an unelected bunch of c####. Can Parliament not go directly to The Queen to request the sacking of Johnson and his conniving group of unelected Tory RW bastards!!!??? This political scenario is unprecedented and every legal and political avenue must be explored to draw consensus and block this threat to the country as a whole! It is a major crisis and leaked govt papers confirming food delays and delays at channel ports. I think watching kwasi kwarteng taking down his own governments risk assessments of a no deal Brexit as 'scaremongering' is one of the funniest things ever. Donald Tusk's response/rebuttal of BoJo's demand to remove the Irish backstop because it is "undemocratic"(???) pulls a British govt response that Tusk is over-reacting lol!!!! WHAT DID THEY EXPECT????? This stuff is all contrived by RW shit-heids and is straight out of the populist manual to actually "draw a reaction"!! As Tusk rightly commented re Johnson and his orchestrations - It is all "bluster" and demands without any real alternative solutions being suggested!! Remember that this tedious dialogue re the Irish backstop goes back a long time and what we are observing are different people/Tories covering "old ground" and it is becoming repetitive with these current Tory morons using it to scapegoat the EU - that is exactly how RW populists practise and it is called "scapegoating" when in fact they are the real offenders and are full of shit!!

All along I've said the EU won't throw Ireland under the bus and they aren't going to now. Boris's new plan of the republic leaving the EU temporarily is xxxx nonsensical. EU law is the republics law.

Problem he has is that Ireland can't be bullied anymore like England did in its colonial past, they have very powerful friends.

The bannon influence on Johnson will be targeted at damaging the UK - EU relationship and burning bridges, the more damage he does to Britain's relationship with Europe then the more ambitions the US can be in it's 'trade' annexation talks. Can they ask for more control of our financial regulator? Can they control our interests rates? as discussed in initial trade documents, all this stuff is up for grabs.

Johnson claims that the Irish "backstop" UNDERMINED THE GOOD FRIDAY AGREEMENT(????) and Sinn Fein's instant response to this shit is describing this view as "rank hypocrisy" attached to Johnson and his RW cronies and that includes those sectarian fanatics, the DUP, who unsurprisingly support this shameful disregard with a comment by Arlene Foster that all unionists don't support the "backstop" (for obvious reasons). Lets also note that the DUP do not represent the democratic interests of NI!!! What a sham!! IMO Brexit is incompatible with the Good Friday Agreement and that is a fact that this unelected RW British govt still "can't fathom". Hence a RW move to eradicate it against the wishes of parliament, the Irish community and the EU!! As commented previously, these Tory impostors who have infested the British govt should be tossed out into the street and replaced with something that resembles a proper, accountable government of some sort!! THEY ARE "TAKING THE PISS""!!
Lastly, the mere mention of this Ultra RW creton called Steve Bannon really brings up the hairy hackles on my arms in utter anger and frustration that this guy is freely going around "peddling his poison" under the guise of the right to freedom of speech - the same defence as our UK RW political saboteur, Nigel Farage. One of the nicknames attached to this man is "The Global Goebbels", a fitting description attached to a guy whose preaching I associate with certain massacres in the United States such as El Paso, Charlottesville. Bannon has clearly set out a plan, with a familiar vile strategy - anti-immigrant and Islamophobic rhetoric + throw in social conservatism, to create an international far-right coalition which brings, under a single ideological umbrella, the hard-right of traditional conservatism. Some people have previously warned that he should be stopped from taking control - I'd argue that he and his cohorts HAVE PARTIALLY TAKEN CONTROL - INDIA/MODO, HUNGARY/ORDAN, USA/TRUMP, RUSSIA/PUTIN, ITALY/SALVINI, TURKEY/ERDOGAN, ISRAEL/NETANYAHU, AUSTRIA/STRACHE (RECENTLY BROUGHT DOWN RE FRAUD/BRIBERY)!!!! BEWARE!!!! I've previously said that some of my past relatives have died fighting RW fascists like Bannon and his ilk (who were allowed to thrive in the recessive 1930s and preaching the same shit!!) during WW2. I forgot to mention there is a Netflix film called "The Great Hack". To anybody who has not seen this film documentary, please watch it and be enlightened re the whole conspiracy re data manipulation, Cambridge Analytica, the manipulation of Facebook on a global scale to influence the election of Trump and force the success of Brexit. Note, Steve Bannon, a known ultra-right fascist c### partly financed Cambridge Analytica and there is a link between Trump, CA's CEO Nix, Aaaron Banks and Farage and many other RW associates!! This is worth a "watch" and exposes a really undemocratic and IMO criminal process of trying to influence elections, referenda and indeed anything of massive importance that matters to the unscrupulous bastards who wanna force their ideologies on targeted people of any population using data breaches that are illegal!! It is a real eye opener!! People worldwide should be made aware of this massive conspiracy and I can see these techniques being secretly used after Brexit. I'd love to see how that buffoon can come up with a system that a) enables people and goods to move freely across the Irish border, whilst "taking back control" of the rest of our borders, and b) a system that works in a situation where a house can be on one side of the border, but the garden or driveway can be on the other, or indeed one where the house or business itself straddles the border, and one where the eastbound or northbound side of the road is in the UK, but the westbound or southbound side of the road is in the Republic.

Love how the media is making it sound like some kind of victory, merkel has just told the idiot something that's always been available just that this time he's actually,finally admitted its down to the UK to find a solution.
