Leeds
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

So now L**ds blow it at home in the play offs!!! Derby well worth their 4-2 win and now will play Villa in the final, if the form in the semis is anything to go by then Derby could well win that one. Cracking game to watch, lots of goals, end to end stuff, 2 red cards and some calamitous defending at times, especially from the L**ds keeper!!!!

A report in The Times this morning
ITS ONLY PART OF THE REPORT BECAUSE YOU HAD TO SUBSCRIBE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE The English Football League will review its financial fair play rules this summer after complaints from clubs in the Sky Bet Championship that their rivals are exploiting the system by selling off their grounds and leasing them back as a way of balancing the books. Sheffield Wednesday and two other Championship clubs are believed to have followed the example of Derby County, who revealed last month that they sold Pride Park to the club’s owner Mel Morris for £80 million last year, enabling them to record a pre-tax profit of £14.6 million for the 2017-18 season. Aston Villa are understood to be considering selling Villa Park if they fail to win promotion to the Premier League in this month’s play-off final. Could be the reason the accounts have gone in late Tony Pulis has left Middlesboro.

That would explain the delay. It might also explain why even though we hardly reduced our squad this season we are still not under an embargo. Its a risk to do this but it could in theory buy us a couple of seasons to have a real push at promotion, but it is a one off thing and could leave us not owning the ground, although like Derby it will stay in the same owners hands just as a separate company.

It is also being reported that the EFL are reviewing the rules after complaints from other Championship owners that some clubs are exploiting the system buy selling grounds and leasing them back.
xxxx EFL,it's their rules that need reviewing,I understand why they were brought in,but how can we ever have a level playing field in the Championship when relegated clubs get a massive parachute payment to give them bigger financial clout than the rest. As long as we are not breaking the rules then xxxx em. However what happens if Chansiri chucks the toys out, does the rent go up to siilly prices. Mknd you I have been having a good laugh at our Premiership, albeit for one season, neighbours and the fall out between the owners or non owners or what ever.
Nothing changes,again.
