We won't be finding out about their appeal to voters matt, they've stolen the seats effectively.

All we know is that they oppose Brexit, but won't give any details on how they're going to oppose it.

Delaying any decision to 2021 might even be worse on the economy than crashing out with a no deal!!! The uncertainty that would cause within the financial and commercial market would be dreadful, this needs sorting one way or the other.

What are the rules if an MP changes party mid-term? I always thought it was technically the individual who held the seat, not the party??

Yeah the individual holds the seat not the party, but they should hold a by-election and see if they get re-elected again on a different ticket.

So Corbyn meets with barnier and co - then comes back with a 2 pronged attack on may this week. It's a sensible decision for the country and a sensible decision for Labour as the party was starting to take a doing at the polls. There is nothing for labour to gain in facilitating a hard Brexit.

The problem is Labour will still take a doing at the polls, the party is finished, it's become a party for metropolitan London, it's too London centric. For far too long they've took the North and safe Labour seats for granted, the party has been taken over by the far left which is unelectable.

"HMRC has estimated that the administrative burden on businesses from customs declarations alone, on current (2016) UK-EU trade in goods could be around £13bn pa"

"For example, the EU would introduce tariffs of around 70% on beef and 45% on lamb exports, and 10% on finished automotive vehicles."

"Northern Ireland is particularly vulnerable given its high proportion of, and reliance upon SMEs (75% of all private sector employment) and the number of businesses who trade directly with Ireland (Northern Ireland’s largest international export market)."

"If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, some agreements will not be concluded in time... Including japan"

" UK citizens would be treated as third country nationals by member states, and potentially be subject to full Schengen checks. This would mean they would no longer be able to use e passport-gates"

By the way is soubry an adjective or a noun? I looked it up. The definition was "wild-eyed, as in an unfortunate beast afflicted with mad-cow disease".

Personally I'm not so sure about kicking the can down the road when environmentally we ought to be re-cycling it.
