Feels like a good day for once. Three signings, one permanent is three more than I thought we would sign. Let’s hope they are good enough to improve us as a team.
As for those coming to the end of their contracts, they will virtually all go in the summer, losing them now won’t make much difference to FFP one way or the other. Selling players worth something will but we can now leave that till the summer now as well.

Worrying that we can't get rid of any shite, not even on loans to L1.
Right bunch of hangers on.
Derby sent Butterfield to Bradford can't we do something like that?

Who would have them realy ? the wages that some are on are higher than most of the championship and some are earning premier league wages! agents have us by the bollocks untill the summer comes . but worries me is that we need to get rid of so many and if we dont sell the obvious players that we are able too we wont even balance the books and will go into the fairplay trap needing to keep this dogshit on as we wont be able to sign anyone !
Fessi rhodes bannan and lees and even reach should have been sold ..its the only way bruce will be able to get rid of the dogpoo and bring in other players even if they are from lower leagues ..it wont make a difference if we are under embargo ?
as for the new signings the wolves lad looks like a prospect though obviously not even near the finished article and will take at least the rest of this year to settle in ! and then theres the Newcatle loaneas !!! ill just say this ..that fat spanish waiter doesnt let any good player leave his clubs, so they are either shit or will become good and go striaght back to him unless he leaves Newcastle that is ?

I'm happy with the signings, hopefully after the Ipswich game we won't hear Boyd or Palmers name, just a shame fox has no solid replacement as he really is L1 calibre.
Rhodes has got to go, even at half price he just has to, put Abdi up for a tenner.
Hutch has to go too really

I think as Imre said its the wages that will stop deals. Even if we did loan them we would end up paying their wages still, so might as well keep them just in case of emergencies like we saw last season. They all have to go in the summer.
On the subject of the embargo, if the EFL do place us under one it will start before the summer, so these players will have contracts that expire on June 1st and we will not be able to resign them until their contract expires even if we wanted to, at which point our offer will obviously be less and hopefully their agents can get them a move elsewhere anyway.

Anyone catch the footage floating about online, of warnock telling a bbc reporter, to tell Gary Lineker to " xxxx off" for calling him Colin?

I have to admit I have a lot of time for Warnock but if I ever met him I am certain I would automatically call him Colin!!! I see him on TV and Colin is the only name that pops into my head!!
