European Union Referendum - In or Out??
The hired shipping/ferry company story (£3M is not small money and mind it is taxpayers' geld!) is priceless and I'm sure the likes of Private Eye will have a "field day" on this story of wasted money but who is being paid this money? Another donating individual to the Conservative Party by any chance??

This is a very good Guardian article by Chi Onwurah re Mrs Windrush's brexit position and her deliberate "running down" of the clock.

Corbyn once again offers may labour support for a deal that keeps us in a customs union, but its a non starter with the ludicrous red lines may has put to the EU - ones which she has no mandate for. A power grab, pure and simple.

Now there is another possible "twist" in the run up to the "meaningful vote" where some political experts reckon that Mrs Windrush will defer the vote again! I reckon she'll get away with that ploy because there is not enough political "muscle" on the opposition benches to "take her down" and "force her hand". I conclude that this kinda action must come from the people en masse in massed demonstrations that have been previously ignored by these shameless bastards!!! Also I can't see the Conservative Party, or Labour for that matter, being unified for much longer because there is a massive "split" in their ranks re the implications of what is being proposed.

Road Haulage Association are co-ordinating todays trial for a no deal scenario in Kent today, but as pointed out only 89 vehicles are taking part. The actual real volume will be over 6000.

Meanwhile grayling has given millions to a tory donor for a shipping company that has no ships, and uses a pizza companies terms and conditions.

The clock is "ticking" and I, and millions of other anti Brexit observers, am curious to see if May is daft enough to "drive the UK bus down a cliff face". "Call my bluff time" is coming and lets see if Corbyn is a colluding partner in this political game of deceit and deception and will massed demonstrations consequently follow or will the UK population passively accept a con, an absolute deception and utter folly?

Oh dear! Another blow against any no deal scenario! Talk about being "pushed into a corner" eh!!

Surely it doesn't make any difference to the prospect of a No Deal. All it does is make the Government's attempts to prepare for the likelihood of a No Deal more difficult.

Assuming May's deal is voted down, the UK Parliament will have to come up with a cunning plan that is acceptable to the majority of MPs. Then the EU will have to agree to it, which would be most unlikely given various statements made by them over the last month. If they vote against it, then it will still be No Deal.

Interesting day, it looks first of all like corbyn is going to fight a 'no deal' scenario as hard as he can, and he whipped the labour MPs to support the amendment. He also allowed Cooper to make it so it stood more chance of success rather than it coming from the front bench.

If mays deal is voted down parliament has to find an agreeable path forward, and we need to withhold article 50 for the time being to do that. If that solution can't be found then there simply has to be a general election or a 2nd vote to break the logjam.

I was hoping that this new year, 2019, would see the topic of Brexit finally dissipating into the "long grass". I conclude that "wishful thinking" is sadly not gonna happen and this whole Brexit fiasco is gonna persist for another f###### year!! It is not gonna go away unless, by some miracle, a Scottish referendum is forced through up here in the "remaining" Bella Caledonia and we "break the mould" and GTF away from this shit once and for all and let England "deal with their ruling govt" somehow!!
