It would be some good news and ease the pressure on DC's back for a short while.
Problem is, Doyens influence.. Who is actually choosing the replacement? If it's still DC then he can't have Doyen whispering in his ear anymore, they cannot be trusted.
Lots of shit flying about like Charlie says. We're going to have to wait for the dust to settle and try not to get too wound up. As difficult as that currently is.

Now made official by the club, left by mutual consent, Bullen in charge tomorrow.

I think the best we can hope for this season is to escape relegation.
Question: if you had the reins of swfc and were asked to rebuild what players of the present crop would you build the team around? I’d keep Westwood (never understood why he was dropped), Bannan (good link player), Reach (class act)and Joao(best forward we have). FF is our most talented player but he’s injured most the time, Fletch,Hooper(remember him?), Winnall (who?), Matias and the rest of the dross can f*** off for me. Oh. Keep the youngsters like Preston.

If Bruce is to be manager im sure doyen will get feffed off ! unless he gets bunged like the other 2 before him to keep it shut ? has to go for me im sick of him putting shite like palmer forward and hes obviously done a very bad job coaching the first team ! joss has gone then no difference will be made but it is a small step forward as he got stuck in a rut exaclty the same as carlos did and was jabbering shite by the end !
hopefully the ex fulham man will take this job but hes not got the cv of digging in and kicking arses so its more likely to be Bruce who will save us at least from relegation and weed out the dogshite asap if hs past is anything to go by !
He has a good track record of promotions but he did fail at Villa who are in a simular state to us too many superstars and no team !
fletcher and bannan on there way out thank feff ! one to villa and the other celtic
and i wouldnt keep any of them apart from the youngsters this is the problem they are holding the building process up ! new team the end get rid of the xxxx lot !

Bruce did his best job at Hull, a club whose ownership was in far more turmoil that we are in and an owner who didn’t spend anything even when he could. While we can’t spend anything, its not because the owner doesn’t want to, its because the EFL won’t let us. He has a track record of promotion, I just hope he still has the drive and energy to almost start from scratch with us.
As regards building a team around who we have, I would prefer to build around the youngsters who have stepped up, the likes of Tho0rniley, Baker and Penney. Would like to keep Reach but I still think he will need to be sold at some point to settle with the EFL, unless we get more than expected for the likes of Bannan or Forestieri. Still think Winnal might be worth a shot when he is fit and I would like to keep Joao, the rest of the forwards can do one for all I care.
