Sam Allardyce really deeply knows his stuff, tactically aware, good motivator just plays horrible football

Then there are those who continually just keep getting jobs

Yes I am expecting somehow that Alan Pardew will indeed pop up at some cushy number somewhere having either done a great lying interview or something perhaps darker...

Can anyone beat Steve Mclaren ?

Martin Allen has had a damn lot of clubs but seems an OK guy

There are a few others that seem to be able to get jobs with or without success.

Tony Pulis is an obvious one, gets a side organized, recruits big players so he has set pieces at the forefront of his tactics and plays fairly boring football. His teams tend to be steady for most of the time but once it goes wrong it takes clubs a few years to get the Pulis way out of them.

David Moyes, had success of sorts at Everton and has then pretty much failed everywhere else. Currently out of work but I'm sure he will get interviews once we start to see managers int he PL and Championship getting fired.

Harry Redknapp, had some success but is now seen as a fixer although he really hasn't fixed anything for years. Might not see him again but you never know.

Neil Warnock, good old Colin, gone from club to club and is now on his 17th managerial position. Has had some good success with regards to getting teams promoted, holds the record at 8 promotions but has generally failed to be able to take those promoted clubs to the next level with any degree of consistency!!

Steve Bruce, read above about Colin, Bruce is fast becoming the promotion to the PL specialist, not yet been able to prove himself fully in the PL though.

Although the job itself is precarious, the ridiculous wages and settlements of unfinished contracts makes these managers very rich men . I, like others can name very ordinary x~players who've got the job on their name alone . 

Alan Padrew & David O'Leary must think they've won the lottery . They certainly didn't win anything else .
