England at home, May-June 2018

Outstanding innings by Scotland up at the Grange. Came out and attacked as they did in the World Cup qualifiers, got their highest ever ODI total with 371-5, and MacLeod the first Scotsman to score a century against England.

England now need their highest ever run-chase to win, and joint second-highest worldwide. Game on!

Just switched on and seen England 100-0. Then saw the target! Wowzers! Must've batted out of their skins. Smartass

Jonny B going good. 84 off 39. Smile

100 from 54 balls. Thumb up

Three consecutive ODI centuries for Bairstow.

Bairstow first Englishman to make three consecutive ODI centuries. One more against Australia in the week would take him alongside Sangakkara, the only man ever to make four in a row.

Would they all have been against different opposition, too? Unusual.

It's embarrassing that we've just been beaten by a nation which doesn't even play cricket. What next getting hammered by Panama in the World Cup?

Some silly dismissals from an England perspective, but great performance with both bat and ball from Scotland, a well-earned victory after being robbed by the umpire at the WCQ and a thrilling game of cricket all round.

Not quite; the first two were both against New Zealand.
