Northants at Northampton 23/5/2018

We go into this on top of the North section following our easy victory over Durham on Sunday, this however will present a different task. The home side won their previous match against Notts with Cobb, Rossington and Wakely all scoring more than 50 and White taking three wickets. Ex Lancs player Nathan Buck took two wickets also in their side on Sunday was another ex of our Luke Proctor.
Suspect we will stick to the side that won on Sunday however would like to see Livingstone bat higher than Brown.
Nothing on the Lancs site as yet in respects of the squad.

Lancs 280 at the time didn't think it would be enough another good start Jennings fifth score over 50 on the bounce, bailed out by Vilas at the end.
Northants went off like a rocket with Cobb and Levi blasting the opening bowlers all over the shop we pulled it back to become favourites before Rossington and our ex Proctor put on over 60 in about 7 overs looked to have clawed it back before another ex hit his first ball of the season for six before Proctor saw them home can't afford another defeat

No more slip ups required as Lancashire head to the seaside to play a Warwickshire side that is in the process of rebuilding after being relegated last season. Old stagers Trott, Bell, Patel and Barker still in the side along with decent young bat Sam Hain and also seem to have unearthed a young bowler in Brookes.
They have won one game out of two beating the strange folk with the White Rose.
As for us the scenario will be great opening stand, collapse before late middle order bails us out. No real challengers for either Brown or Croft's position so expect virtually same side to play tomorrow, however one big fly in the ointment is the weather forecast it is not great which has been the case for the last two one dayers at Blackpool.
Two points required may have to settle for one.

To be fair, most times New Road gets flooded it's not because of the Severn bursting its banks; the problem is miles upstream at the confluence with the Teme, and the water backing up through the sewers and drains!
