Nay lad, it's sheer madness. We're now in the favourites to win the game position, even after getting bowled out for 50. At the close of day 2, Essex have 6 wickets remaining but still need another 141 runs.

Yorks 50 & 329

Essex 142 & 97-4

That's 34 wickets in 2 days.

146 all out.

Yorkshire win by 91 runs. Thumb up

Wonder what odds you could get on that when we'd been bowled out for 50.

Prolific Ben Coad, who has taken 23 wickets so far in just three Specsavers County Championship outings, is rested due to a sore ankle and general fatigue. Left-arm seamer James Wainman is included in his place.

England stars Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow play their second and final fixture before reporting back for International duty in London on May 20.

Steven Patterson, who recorded career-best figures of 6-40 at Chelmsford against Essex last week, is included once again despite still nursing a broken finger on his right hand.

Liam Plunkett and David Willey remain involved with their respective clubs in the IPL, which has yet to reach the knockout stages
