Its only a provisional squad for the friendly Ireland have coming up. The Irish FA put out a statement yesterday saying that any players still injured by the time the proper squad is announced will not be in the final squad.

Joking aside he maybe not be shite ? but in every big game apart from the Brighton semi final in our first season of cc football ! the games have passed him by Hull & pigs steam rolled him out of the game easy !! i fear managers think hes the man to build the whole midfield round but hes just not strong enough to take that anker role and then theres the constant back passing !!

Bannan is at his best when he picks up the ball and runs forward with pace. Thats what he did in CCs first season. He also needs to have a DM alongside him as that encourages him to get forward more. Too often he has played too deep in more of a DM role and that stops him being effective.

If Celtic want him for a few million though, I would let him go.

I think thats half of the problem aswell we always play a defensive midfielder with him !! weve never tried playing 3 across the middle of midfield and letting him do as he likes or we have very few times as wankers such as wallace and reach at the time basically left big gaps to be exposed !! if he is going to play for us again we need him with lee up and down and a carlton plamer type player who not only can defend but can attack aswell .. unlike jones Hutch and butterfield who are all to defensive and have no talent to tear through a defence !! and this would stop the constant passing around into brick walls !! no clare can attack but cant defend ! so at the moment my option when all fit would be Bannan lee clare in a 3 man center midfield with Hooper hanging of them and fessi in a free role !!

Problem for us is we can't spend big to replace anyone, and anyone we do buy will be cheap after selling at a loss, so that means raiding Charlton again for more 'Fox's'.

We blew it big time and left it far too late to take appropriate action. Now it's going to take at least a season to level out the finances in order to try again.

We sharted at Wembley now here's the follow through for refusing to go to the toilet.
