Could they win the title?

Celtic are way above in ways of budget, spending etc

Could Aberdeen go against this and in the next two years do a Leicester? (An AZ Almaar or Twente Eschende!)

McInnes is clever in the transfer market and has put together in his time very good squads
Excellent placed finishes, travels into Europe and even some silverware
losses of good players have been few

could it happen?

You can never say never, but in reality if it happened it would likely be more down to Celtic having a mare of a season rather than Aberdeen doing something special. As it stands today, it Celtic who completely dictate where the title goes and with Rodgers at the helm they don’t look like losing focus enough to let someone else sneak in.

Mcinnes is an overrated coach who has shat the bed every time he has got close to celtic. I can't see it.

Highly doubtful if anyone could finish ahead of Celtic. Aberdeen have had chances to put pressure on Celtic before, but failed. We can all be extremely close to Celtic in one or two games but not over a season.
Cabbage is still good for you

I know you and 0762 have said that a few times but Aberdeen have been consistently the 2nd best team in Scotland during his time there. Of course this has also coincided with Rangers, Hibs and Hearts being in some turmoil as well but I’m not sure what else he could have achieved. It seems that for years every manager who got near Celtic/Rangers in the past and now just Celtic shats their pants when they get close because its over 30 years since any other team has won the title!!

Yep! Past failed history tells us otherwise and it's likely Celtic will make '10-in-a-row' or even more than that number TBF!

Yeah and in that period of turmoil for hibs, hearts and rangers how many trophies has he won ?

No more than inverness, saints, ross county or kilmarnock. His record in the europe is dismal as well, and we are not talking against worldbeaters either.

The Dons lose again to Rangers tonight for the 3rd time this season and that failure ensures that Celtic are now 11 pts clear at the top of the Scot Premiership and that gap will widen by >20 pts by season end! Title winners? No chance as is the same rating of Rangers who have sneaked into 2nd place above the Dons on superior GD again.

I meant at the top of the page to `win the title` in the next two years or so any longer and Rangers will miraculously have found a huge pot of money somewhere and be the usual

Find it so annoying the Dons roll over every time they play Celtic or Rangers, If I go on a Dons board there is always questions about referees, fouls and dodgy penalties but really feel we have a good side and they just bottle it

It is highly likely Celtic will lift the Scot Premiership title for the next decade and beyond TBF and that likelihood is based on the huge amount of money that is filling the coffers of CFC. Unless Celtic abscond the SPFL, and play in 'pastures new', they will continue to dominate domestic footie in Scotland for the foreseeable future.
