I hope Winnall scores a hat trick today.
With any luck he'll carry on and we can gouge Derby for a couple of million, I certainly wouldn't come back to Wednesday if I were him

Butterball should never, ever wear the shirt again. Blood a xxxx youngster before he plays again. Derby are laughing their arses off, conned us out of a striker that scores for a midfielder that gives the points away.
Derby fans are saying we can have Winnall back as long as we take Butterfield.. Says it all
The business regarding recruitment is laughable, we are inept in every dimension I'm xxxx fed up of incompetent businessmen.

I think this post from S9_Owl on OT copied below sums things up for me. We are all fast forgetter's and the sooner we get in a new manager, re-motivate the players and get confidence from a few wins and assured safety we can get back to planning for next seasons push. I mean Reading are currently doing even worse than us and they were in the PO final last year.
Our expectations were pushed way too high by that first season under CC and press conference PL target by our 15Oth. Unfortunately the subsequent recruitment although we finished 4th (mainly by change of style) did not address the weaknesses most people saw against Hull. I think we would be where Swansea are now are had we got promoted.
Irrespective of all the faux pas DC or his staff have made on shirts etc if I was DC then some of the comments and personal attacks might be enough to say eff you I'm cutting my losses and off. However, if you see some of Att's posts he is as big a fan (but obviously more privileged than many) as the rest of us and therefore think DC is in for the longer haul and these taxi firms, energy drinks, naming, in-house shirts are all just ways of getting funds in to fund the playing side. The trouble we have currently is too many of the squad the are injured or not enough are pulling their weight. Lets give this new CEO approach a chance. At this point I will accept mid table mediocrity this season and look forward to 18-19 with a refreshed and better balance squad.
Recently I've been losing the buzz for football, but it isn't for the usual reason of overpaid players, etc, its because of the fans that claim to support their club nowadays.
This business with Chansiri is a perfect example. Ever since I've been supporting Wednesday people have been crying out for investment, to get us out of year after year of dire, dour football. 6 months ago he was held in god like status with most Wednesday fans. When he came in you could not ask for more, he invested in the pitch, improvements to stadium etc, invested heavily in the squad, constantly talking about us a family and wanting to be part of that. Now he's treated by a lot of fans with absolute contempt/hate.
And the simple reason is because the football this season has admittedy been poor. The previous 2 seasons have been the best in my time watching Wednesday (I'm 30 so can only very vaguely remember the better days as a kid) and we failed by a nat's whisker to reach the premiership. Do you think he wanted us to fail? Do you think he wants to be on the bad run were on?
What has he done to deserve such hate all of a sudden? Appoint a CEO, who I agree does not look a great move (but atleast give her a chance to fail/prove us wrong), and offer a refund of season tickets.
The way fans have turned is a disgrace. I'm not saying dont be critical where its due, but the level of hate these last few days is embarrassing. Its been like it a while now this fickle nature of every time we lose a game, going off like world's going to end and everything at the club is rubbish. Its not just us, its probably way of the world now and happens at all clubs, I just hoped we were better than that especially after last 20 years we've had.
I just hope we don't destroy ourselves.
