Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

As long as he stays with us that is!! I just hope he is able to develop with us and doesn't get seduced by an offer from a Prem team before he breaks into our starting 11.

Im sure his dad wont let him !!! Hirst had his regrets but he knows we made him who he was and im sure he wont let his son be seduced by the Big prem teams yet ? as it happens we could be a Big prem team in a few weeks anyway and that would seal it !!!

Not so sure about his dad, he has just severed ties with us over something and its likely to be about George!! Secondly, wasn't he once quoted as saying his biggest regret was not getting that move to Old Trafford when Fergie wanted him?? Hirst is a legend at S6, but that doesn't guarantee that will be the advice to George if he is as good as people say he it.

As you say, up to us to get to the Prem and then he doesn't need to go anywhere!!

Yes but Man utd came for him when he was a bloke not a boy !! and lets face it the days of Managers like Fergie are over as well with thinking of your future !! not sure why he left us though ? maybe hes been on the piss again ? not one for rules Hirsty snr !!

i think he will get at least more cup games if we are in the prem aswell because apart from staying up we will have fuckall else to play for ... the downside to it all !!!

Hope you will die before sunday  Thumb up

Might not be able to take in Sunday's game as I'm away from home sweet home. I'll do my best though as I bring lots of good luck to the team.

Former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew could be in line to become manager of Sheffield Wednesday. The 55-year-old is fancied to take over at Hillsborough regardless of how Carlos Carvalhal's side get on in the Championship play-offs.
