Let's hope this is just crap paper talk. If we are trading 36 year old defenders, I'd take GMac every day over that that racist prick. This would be a total abomination of a signing. We need young defenders, not that obnoxious tosser.

I know JT has been a knob and I don't like him but I'd have him at The Albion. Yeah he's 36 but GMac is 37 and still Brilliant so depending on wages I'd take him in a heartbeat for free.

Sorry Worldclass, but if there was a dislike button I'd be hitting it right now!

Putting aside the fact that I think Terry is an obnoxious human being, my issue with this is that we should be signing a young central defender to replace GMac, not someone a year younger who will eat up a substantial chunk of our salary budget. If we accept that Jonas is leaving at the end of the season, why replace him with someone who, I think, is actually older? Move Dawson into the centre of defence to replace GMac, buy a young centre back and a left back (move Nyom to his preferred right back). However, buying Terry fits the Pulis profile - has to be British, Premier League and vastly experienced, all highly laudable but not when you bring someone into the club aged 36 and, let's be honest, past it. I reckon I could give him a decent race over 100 metres and I'm nearly 62. Remember why he was sent off at the Hawthorns last season - because Rondon skinned him and Terry had no alternative but to bring him down. So, please TP, don't sign him.
