If we were seriously interested in Schneiderlin surely we are looking at better players than these!!

If this is the sign of things to come it proves that the club are happy to struggle against relegation each season rather than pushing for regular top half finishes.

OK....playing Devil's Advocate here, that would've been said when we signed Nyom. Many a treasure has immediately come good from a lower league, so I reckon we should hold fire on any criticism until that player is obviously NOT up to it; then not have a go at the player, but the regime that recruited him

OK. With transfers at such a stupendous level, why not offer the FA say £10m for Dan Ashworth??

That's a fair comment, Drewks, and over the years we have signed players who at the time seemed underwhelming but who proved to be brilliant. Nyom may prove to be so but my concern is that we seem now to be fishing in a pond where everyone fits the criterion that taking such a punt may be successful. I know we have to be realistic (we were never going to sign Schneiderlin) but we need a balance of "likely successful" and "pretty much guaranteed successful". All the indications are that we have a substantial amount of money to spend so I'm just concerned that we are not fishing in a slightly better pond

Tony Pulis says West Brom will not sell striker Saido Berahino "unless it is right for the club".

The Berahino saga is a Joke. He was never worth 20m or 25m for that matter. We should have sold him and now we are still holding onto him......WHY??

He doesn't want to stay, he's fat, he has a very bad attitude and we could possibly still get 8m for him......GET RID FFS!!!!!
