Former Premier League striker Nile Ranger has admitted an online banking fraud in which a woman lost more than £2,000.
The 25-year-old Southend United footballer pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud by obtaining bank details and transferring the money.
Mitigating, Angus Bunyan, said the footballer's last serious conviction was more than 10 years ago.
Didn't this xxxx play for us in our promotion year.He has been in or near trouble since he was at Newcastle it seems and never learns from his mistakes it looks like.
How low must he have sunk to want to steal £2000.He must have made some good money somewhere along the way.
Maybe he should move to China.
Nothing changes,again.

Rumour has it that Nuhiu, Bus and Joao are on there way out, with Joao going out on loan. If thats the case then we should see two strikers coming in to replace. Winnall is a good bet at 25 years old and 75 goals from 170 odd appearances, including 40 in 95 at the Dingles. And as he is out of contract at the end of the season and has stated he is not inteerested in signing a new one we should dangle some cash in their faces and get him relatively cheaply.
