Well done on finding that one, got to admit I have never heard of him and certainly no memory of him playing for us!! But he did officially make 2 appearances in 2014.

Nothing to show from that pish poor performance at Bolton. SCO couldn't help out either.

Surely that's a pound for me from a last minute own goal in a Cup game?

It is, but don't call me Shirley.
Apologies to Snoots, I was guilty of only checking the goal scorer's names.

If I've got it right this week (I am trying to pay attention, honest guv's) Callum Marshall's equaliser nets £1 for ritchie, and young Cads nets another for SCO, as a player on loan can't be a registered player for two clubs so he's ex-Wendies until his loan ends. Right?
Might need a VAR review on that one.
Town now need a full house against Cambridge, Burton and Smogport (not in that order) to claw back the 5 points we need to catch Wrexham (or 6 for Brum) and all 9 might not be enough. Otherwise SCO is off the hook for his first big down-payment.
Wrexham are away to Brizzle and home to Blackpool and Wigan
Brum are away to Crawley, home to Burton and Blackpool
If only Burton and Blackpool would just realise just how many little people's breakfasts will rely on their results?

By the way SCO, is that New Year's Day morning ours or yours? MN is 6 hours behind us so by the time the game finishes here it will still only be 11:00 in St. Charles MN, (and MO or IL). Seem to recall you're in the one nearer the Twin Cities but maybe I'm wrong. They are all in the same time zone regardless. I'm taking it as ours as it's played here but it's fair to ask for confirmation so I don't unfairly ding you when you go out for your New Years Day lunchtime pint and platter of Buffalo wings should we fluke 4 wins and 3rd place by New Years Day.

Its the IL one, but its still 6 hours anyway. Use whichever benefits the charity more.

Cheers for that SCO. Maybe I mixed you up with one of our former corrrespondents. I've likely been very close to your back yard on more than a few occasions in the past in that case.
Company I used to work for had it's global HQ in Warrenville, many former colleagues lived in the Naperville to Glen Ellyn area, along with Downers Grove and Oak Brook. I've had more than just a few beers in bars on Butterfield Road and elsewhere in all those parts, from the approx addresses I can recall. Not to mention a few burgers in downtown Windy City and the Billy Goat Tavern. Hell, I knew my way to that place better than some of the "locals". One of my former colleagues' folks used to live in Elgin and I've lost a lot of little white balls on big green fields (well, mostly in their lakes) round those parts too in years gone by. Small world innit? Pretty sure we never met though. A Wendies fan and a Town fan meeting out there would have bored the arse off the locals. Now if you wanted to discuss "Da Bears v Da Cheesheads" or talk about a certain downtown basketball team at the time ...Jordan, Pippen, Barkely, Rodman ... they couldn't buy you enough beers and platters of wings.
Gimme English football any day of the week.
PS - that's the original one on Lower Michigan beneath the shadows of The Wrigley Building and The Tribune Tower

Been to the Billy Goat a few times, it really isn't the easiest place to find especially if you are unfamiliar with the underground city below Michigan Avenue!!!
The two Sheffield companies I've worked for over here are based in Aurora and West Chicago, so I mainly stay in the western suburbs. Love downtown Chicago though, its a great city to visit!! Was in a Portillo"s a few weeks back and had a long chat with a Gooner, and a Yank to boot, we talked about the 1993 cup finals and to be fair to him he had been following them since the 80s!! He was in town for the NBC PL Soccer event that was being held in Chicago that week.
I moved here just after the Jordan Bulls split up for the final time and they went back to just being an ordinary team!! They still charge Jordonesque prices for tickets though!!
