WBA Transfer Window: (Summer 2015) Starting early..

I suggested yesterday that Crouch would be his first signing. It stuck me this morning though that Samaras can play that role so maybe not. If he plays today you can say for certain who is calling the shots at the ground and it ain't Kelly.

I think today is about assessing the backroom. Seeing if they see what Pulis sees. If not they'll be on their way out......hopefully.

Papers naturally linking TO to Stoke (Crouch) and other players that fit his recent purchasing modus operandi - basically all rubbish until a few more days in post would allow him to set wheels in motion

Even though Pulis will have the final say on transfers and things have changed a bit i would still expect things to stay the same regarding our hush hush approach when it comes to signing players. I think its fairly safe to assume NONE of the players we are linked with at the moment will end up at The Hawthorns

Kenwyn Jones anyone? Wonder where Sidebi is nowadays?

This negativity about Pulis is a bit silly, he tried to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson and Steven Caulker at Palace - both are quality and comfortable on the ball and would walk into our team.

So he "tried" to buy 2 players that Palace couldn't afford and then walked out, whereas he did actually buy the players I jokingly mentioned. I really hope that I'm wrong and this optimism in Pulis turns out to be justified but I'm scarred by memories of his Stoke days and Palace's cup match against us last season - if we adopt the same approach then I won't be around to watch it next season.

Presumably all bull but linked with Crouch Walters, Puncheon and Jarvis. I'd definitely take Puncheon though.

Another point: I think that DEFINITELY players will be more attracted to come to our club now we have TP in charge for a reasonable time. Probably even more so than when Uncle Roy was in charge - he still had a big point to prove.
Who WOULDN'T want to sign for the Manager of the Year?? Blush

No - seriously - I'm sure JP's suddenly made us a very attractive option for a lot more players Thumb up

How about Berahino out and Defoe in? I see Hull are sniffing round Defoe - wages large tho........
However, guaranteed goals - not many of these strikers around.
