WBA Transfer Window: (Summer 2015) Starting early..
#71
Looks like anyone we're after will have to be a minimum of 6ft 2, able to run a lot, not afraid of a tackle and be able to kick or throw the ball a long way. Creative ability and skill not required.

So it all changes now (or maybe it does not).

TP, if he is confirmed as manager will surely have made some demands on funds to 'fix the mess' in January's transfer window?

So the 'yes but no but' to deals in January must be erased and replaced with 'Deals will happen to strengthen and adjust the squad'.

Previously it was claimed that AI was ready to jettison 5 of the summer signings (Varela, Baird, Davidson, Blanco and Ideye). Maybe TP has a different view now. I am sure he will watch from the wings for the West Ham and Gateshead games (as well as recent match DVD's) to assess his resources.

Who do you think will go - who would you like to see him bring in?

As Zinman said, Spewless will be bringing in a bunch of 6'5" muscular hoofball thugs and dump creative talented footballers. Don't get deluded with his successful run at Palace - that was the new manager syndrome and inheriting some decent players. Leopards don't change their spots.

Dark boring days ahead guys.

Don't agree there BM - he inherited a team that was right at the bottom of the table and NOT playing in any way, shape, or form what you could call 'good football'. HE actually got quite a few of the talented players in too, and got them playing great stuff.
I don't think that TP would change now from his time at Palace - why should he? Manager of the Year, all the other plaudits given; he got so much more positive reaction at Palace than all his time at Stoke........nah - I really think that this leopard HAS changed his spots Thumb up

I posted a couple of weeks into the season that I quite liked the look of Demarai Gray at the bluenoses. From then he has gone strength to strength, Blues have just turned down £1.5m for him from Bournemouth, which I think would have been a steal. Worth a cheeky £2m bid I would think, maybe even £2.5m, reminds me a little bit of a young Laurie Cunningham. Still a bit of a rough diamond, but so much potential IMO

Daily Mirror reporting that Pulis may try to sign Peter Crouch.....surely NOT.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

Given that Mr Pulis still had his house down here I would hope he may take a few trips to Dean Court and pick up a few on his way to work ?

A categorical no to Crouch
Bonum vinum laetificat cor hominis.

Crouch screams made up/guessed rumour to me.
