1. Kendo Nagasaki - Famous British wrestler from the days of Saturday afternoon Grapple and Groan, right after the 'osses had finished on ITV. Real name: Peter Thornley. Used as a gimmick that of a Japanese Samurai warrior with a mysterious past and even supernatural powers of hypnosis. The name derives from the modern martial art of Japanese fencing (Kendo), and Nagasaki is the name of a city on the south-western coast of Kyūshū, site of the second use of the atomic bomb, as well as an ancient family name in Japan.
2. Harold Shipman - folk were just dying to meet him - responsible for at least 218 deaths. Likely our biggest ever mass murderer. What's up doc?
3. Nick Hancock - TV presenter. Also appeared in two episodes of 'Mr Bean'. He hosted the sports quiz They Think It's All Over for 10 years.
4. Frank Bough - former TV presenter, best known for having cocaine-fuelled romps with S&M prostitutes. In between all that sex he hosted Grandstand and Breakfast Time in it's earliest incarnation. The man had stamina. Ooo'd a thunk, eh?

7. Bruno Brookes - Radio DJ. Real name: Trevor. Apparently was Knock, Knock, Knocking on Anthea's doors for a while in the 80s. Former radio presenter who became prominent on British radio in the 1980s. He was CEO of in-store radio company Immedia from 2000 to 2020.
8. Stanley Matthews - Legendary footballer, won the FA Cup while playing for Blackpool. "Sir" to give him his full title, played until he was 50 years old and is the only footballer to be knighted whilst still playing.
9. Phil Taylor - 16 time world champion. Top 'arrers for years on end. Nicknamed 'The Power', he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. The protoge of The Crafty Cockney. He beat Bristow 6-1 in 1990 to claim his first world title after qualifying as an unseeded 125-1 outsider.
10. Ted Hankey - 2 time world champion. Nicknamed "The Count", he won the BDO World Darts Championship in 2000, was runner-up in 2001, and won the title for a second time in 2009. He moved to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour in 2012, but suffered a stroke while playing Michael van Gerwen at the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts, and took three months away from the sport to recuperate.
11. Adrian Lewis - 2 time world champion. He is nicknamed Jackpot, as he won a jackpot gambling in Las Vegas in 2005, but he was unable to collect the money as he was only 20 years old, below the US legal gambling age of 21. A protoge of Phil Taylor in darts.
