I personally would play Drenthe and Maghoma and put Palmer in the midfield three when Buxton returns

Agree. Just hope Palmer doesn't get squeezed out.

Maghoma had never played on the left before he came to S6. He mainly played in the centre for Burton, hence so many goals.

Palmer, Lee and Hutchinson is a decent midfield three in this league.

The key to a the defence in a 352 is having one defender that is quick. We don't have a rapid CB in our squad unless the new guy has it. I hear Zayatte was third fastest on the pre season bleep tests behind Helan & Antonio so not sure why you are singling him out for not being fast enough. Certainly he is quicker than Loovens, Buxton & Lees.

I think playing any player on his own would probably result in a double figures hammering.

What's that second link, it says it doesn't exist when you click on it.

Zayatte is quick, but still worries me as he looks like he's got a mistake in him every game.

Zayatte is a good CB and had good pedigree before he came to us. He looked good during his trial (but then he was only playing Scunthorpe and Rangers) then started off last season really badly (as did the whole team) with mistakes by him almost every game but then he got injured just as he got some consistent good form.
Hopefully, he takes his chance and does well because to have 3 top CB pushing each other (I don't include the new bloke simply because I've never seen him) can only be good for Sheffield Wednesday

The first one is a Shef Star article about Drenthe. Nothing exciting

Try again then. Here is what it says.

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has pledged to unearth an investor who can take the club forward after admitting a planned takeover by Hafiz Mammadov had stalled.

In May, the Owls announced a takeover deal was in place with the Azerbajani entrepreneur who currently controls both French outfit RC Lens and Baku FC in Azerbaijan as well as sponsoring a number of European clubs, including the Spanish champions Atletico Madrid.

But Mammadov has not been able to meet the obligations set out in the contract for either the purchase of the shares or the sponsorship arrangements, Mandaric said.

"Whilst I hope that Mr Mammadov will very quickly overcome his difficulties in Azerbaijan, I cannot allow this continued speculation to continue and have asked my legal advisors to take such legal action as they consider necessary.

"The club as always will attract people who are interested in acquiring a top English football club.

"Accordingly, I will explore every serious possibility and if I believe that there is someone who can accelerate our plans to return this club to the Premier League then I will do all in my power to welcome them to Sheffield.

"I believe the legacy I left behind at my previous clubs should give supporters every confidence, if any is needed."

I believe MM and trust him. Don't think he would ever sell us to somebody that would ultimately make us worse.
