Curious captured Russian docs re a strategy that was supposed to make this war an early victory for Putin and his Russian cohorts - IT DIDNAE WORK AND NOW THEY ARE EFFECTIVELY WAGING A WAR OF TERROR AGAINST THE POPULATION!!! Putin playing a war game of "wearing them down and damaging their infrastructure". I really "feel" for the plight of the Ukrainian people and President Zelensky who didn't ask for this extreme aggression and associated terror tactics as winter is about to set in. When is it gonna end???? It really is time to "call it a day", and then we can get down to identifying and demanding the perpetrators of the horrible war crimes that are arising regularly. IMO doing nothing is not an option under these circumstances.

I must say this Chechen account is sobering at a time when Xmas is upon us and it is supposed to be a time of peace and tranquility, but not in Ukraine where, in the likes of Kviv, they have set up their festive public displays underground in The Metro for fear of them being bombed above ground. Sobering indeed!! Save a prayer for Ukraine and its people at this particular time.

We are now weeks into the year 2023 and one can only note with great sadness the fact this war irritatingly rumbles on n on n on...... Two tower blocks, one in Kviv and one in Dnipro, hit by Russian missiles with about 130 civilians/residents killed and many more injured. Doesn't it seem a bit one-sided and frustrating where a bullying terrorist country like Russia is callously firing missiles into large cities of a neighbouring country while their own population in cities like Moscow are "sitting pretty" with no retrospective bombing fired back "with interest" and alarm to the population. I notice President Zelensky yesterday slamming in to the Russian people who must realise what is going on and ignoring the slaughter that is being reeked on Ukraine and looking like it will continue into the distant future ad nauseum.

At last, the ICC formally declaring Putin to be a war criminal and issuing an international arrest warrant. Clearly arresting this monster is easier said than done, but lets make this moron as uncomfortable as possible esp when leaving mother Russia to travel anywhere. I wish a huge bounty could've been added to this warrant and delivering his head on a plate would be deemed acceptable. Too much to ask for, but maybe it could've tempted some home Russians to do the right thing and pick up a huge multi-million dollar reward as well.

And Finland finally joins NATO and this move totally "blows away" any notion in Putin's head that he would be reducing any NATO threat/presence from the borders of Russia. Oh well, a change tact for this ultra terrorist!

A daring attack into Russia itself suddenly changes the dynamic of a war in which Russia and Putin have been set in their own comfort zone where attacks on Ukrainian cities/territory are OK in their view and western backers of President Zelensky don't generally want to see said incursions and Ukraine being a perceived "aggressor". Curious times ahead as the Ukrainian Spring counter-offensive begins to count down to reality.

There was a guy on the Euronews tv channel who said he'd studied Russian politics/history for years, briefly commented he had no idea what this was all about. My initial thoughts focused on the fact that the perpetrator(s) of this rebellion was in fact a perceived war criminal who certainly has no regard for the welfare of fellow human beings or the future of Ukraine. The only good thing coming out of it was the fact it is negative news for Russia and Putin even though a Spartacus style rebellion just didn't materialise where thousands of Russians in the briefly occupied cities and towns picked up personal arms to join this new resistance against Putin and his brutal regime of criminals and assail the gates of Moscow itself. SADLY IT WAS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!
