Seriously though, Maddix's "condescending" remark was definitely made in jest, made clear by the use of the smiley.  We all have to be careful not to take what ourselves and especially what others say too seriously, this is an internet forum, things will get typed that can easily be taken out of context as to their meaning.  Lets err on the side of assuming the meaning is a good one or an attempt at humour and not malicious!!

Anyway, my experience of you lot tells me that when you have something to say that is not in jest it is usually very obvious!!!  In Imre's case it will generally look like this - "You ******* **** how dare you ******* say that, *****." Big Grin

OK. But he does have a record you know. That has to be taken into consideration in weighing the evidence. But, given the mitigating circumstances you've presented, I'll give him a conditional discharge. And the condition is that he write 100 times:

"If it weren't for Canadians and blokes like PEI we'd never know what moose pie tastes like. So, thank you Canada and PEI." Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle

(He doesn't have to do the smilies)

In return, I'll write.

"Maddix is a lovely bloke. Ee bye gum he is. Reight nice feller. Next time I visit Sheffield I'll buy im a pint."

Laugh Laugh Laugh  (I won't write those smilies also)

Fair enough?

Thurnscoe. Look in the Canadian dictionary. It's spelled eh?
