Anyway. Never mind the football. What was Ellie Sax like? Saw a bit of her on the telly but couldn't get the vibe.

I get why we have the Sax player and the pyrotechnics before the game but for me it just screams of trying to force an atmosphere, if the team gives its all and results improve then the atmosphere will improve and no amount of pre match “cheerleading” is going to change that.

As for last night, well we huffed and puffed and didn’t really do a great deal with it. A decent move and a free header straight into the keepers hands and a ball across to Marshall who totally fluffed his shot with it hitting his standing foot…I know he’s young but I just don’t think he’s cut out to be forward…maybe a winger.

On the way out I commented that before January we were sh#t because we had no forwards, now we have forwards but it turns out it’s still sh#t because we have no supply line. Midfield have gone missing just when we need them the most. We still haven’t solved replacing Miller and Sorrenson is struggling.
We get done time and again down both wings, we have little to no pace in the back. Brodie is fast approaching 10 yellow cards and another suspension.

Lose on Saturday and I’m sacking the Reading game off to watch Trinity v Goole vikings

So the fans on social media have gone from blaming everything on our misfiring strikers, to blaming everything on Pearson and Lees. Doh

They're not playmakers. They're defenders. At which they do a good job. Yes they're slow and past their best, but you aren't going to change Matty Pearson into Aaron Mooy. Stop expecting them to. If the opponents are pressing them and nobody in midfield is showing for it, you're gonna get a rushed hoof or a negative backwards pass.

Hot...

Or I hope she was with the pyros next to her and considering she looked to just have an oversized shirt on

Town tweets......

Unfortunately, forward Joe Taylor has sustained a small hamstring complaint following our Sky Bet League One fixture with Bolton Wanderers, and will now spend a short time out of the side as a result.

See you back out there soon, Joe ?
