That's exactly the point being made! I've nothing against the guy himself whatsoever. He seems to be a nice enough lad but he appears to have a very shy demeanour about him and generally talking to people and presentational skills were strong criticisms from footie people who were familiar with his background and that was before he was even appointed by Hearts! His woeful interviews kinda confirm that fact. He definitely reminds me of Hibs ex manager, Colin Calderwood, who had similar attributes but no real 'presence' about him!

I think coincidentally Calderwood arrived at Hibs from Newcastle Utd as well!? A nice guy but never a manager! I spoke to him once after an AGM re his intentions to find an appropriate Hibs captain, a prob that he needed to redress, and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he had a team full of 'quiet lads' - well change it Colin lol! Ironic eh!

Ha ha ha! Re the outcome on Sunday, I'll bank on the Derby experience of a good number of Hibs players that should prove to be invaluable for this match. There's also a nice wee unbeaten run v Hearts after about 7 matches as well as a decent cup tie success in recent times - a reasonable form pointer. I'll predict a 1-2 or 1-3 Hibs win barring any match changing 'incidents'. And on that theme, I'd certainly employ some extra cover on Walker and let him know he's in a serious game of footie - he's a 'threat' with some reasonable form attached to him and I'm sure Lenny will emphasise that fact before the match. He attended Hearts testy cup tie at Tynecastle v Raith where Gary Locke played two 'up top' and gave Hearts defence all kinds of probs. Had it not been for an awful striker named Stewart, Raith would've deservedly been playing us on Sunday TBF! Whether that would've saved Locke's job is another matter! Lenny 'knows the score' and I'm looking forward to attending this match - should be good with the Hibs stand absolutely 'bouncing' no matter what the eventual score is! C'mon Hibs - show up and play to win!

Don't think he has much of a decision who signs........according to Fred it is Levein who does the picking of who they sign. Cathros job is just to train them......a situation fraught with danger.

That's exactly what Billy Broon was referring to a fortnight ago on bbc Sportsound - something that a more experienced manager wouldn't tolerate and citing his buddy, Jim Jefferies, as very much opposed to this kinda set up as well!
