Oh, Allan on as a sub for the injured foster - a test of the boy.

Cummings scores a penalty.

2:3

Miller and Shiels one for Holt and Templeton.

Another adventure on the left wing for Miller?

And as I type Halliday scores a scorcher.

2:4

What a game.

Clark for Waghorn. Great competitive debut for the boy. 4 goals against hibs this in a month.

It's Miller time.

2:5

Another good goal.

And that one was all last year's players.

Fotheringham's kicking needs serious work.

What a game.

3:5

No that one was chalked off.

2:5

This is brilliant.

2:6.

Miller time again.

5 minutes or so to go but I'll have Tavernier as MOM.

And its all over.

Great game.

Better result.

Feeling optimistic.

Nice to see the team having the will and confidence to come from behind and push to build on a lead.

We conceded a couple of sloppy goals but I'm happy enough with that result. Most goals we've put past them in 20 years (since the 7-0 game where Gazza 'booked' (edit: sent off in fact wasn't it?) the ref) and the most at Easter Road in over a hundred years. That goes some way to making up for the 4-0 drubbing last season.

Pretty sure Waghorn said "3 goals against" there in his post-match interview. Easy to lose track of what counts I suppose when there are so many flying in.

Another game under their belt, great pre season performance. Thought they dug in well after the first sloppy goal.

Scottish Challenge Cup Round 1, Saturday 25/07/2015 : Hibernian 2-6 Rangers

That was a comprehensive demolition of the team that will probably be Rangers' main League rivals this Season, so very well done, lads.
What was even better about this was not the excellent result itself, but the way Rangers played to achieve the result.

Match Report : Rangers FC - Hibernian 2-6 Rangers

Attendance : 11,225 (Alba)

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - We Can And Will Improve

For the record, I missed most of the first half, so my judgement of the match (above) is based upon what I saw of the game.
