Just seen in the John Worthington announcement..

“Full details of Worthington’s assistant coaches will be shared in due course.”

That suggests to me that more will follow

I think we could see pato and Russell leave. Although Russell was initially brought in as b team coach and I'd be tempted to put him back there when we get a new manager to save a pay off.

Goalkeeping coach Andy quy was essentially an external appointment, he had no ties to anyone and I'd say generally he's done fine, chapman has developed well this season. If they do get rid, we're still paying Ian Bennett and I think he was unfortunate to lose his job, he only did because Moore wanted basso.

I wouldn't be surprised if town are trying to get Andy Holdsworth back from Sheffield Wednesday. Highly regarded there but a return home might be too tempting.

Manager wise, I'll post my thinkings this afternoon, one of those high up on my list would be Wagner, let him bring buehler back, he'd work with an existing goalkeeping coach, providing they do what he wants. Ian Bennett was here for a time whilst he was, albeit in the academy, he left for forest, for a higher role.

Get webber in too and let him rebuild the club like he begun under Hoyle.

I don't trust those in charge to do the right thing. Kev needs a proper clear out and get some people in who know the club and how it ran when it was successful.

Sean Jarvis and Anne Hough for starters. And I don't want to sound like a broken record but......

Bring back the Hef!

Watford headcoach Tom Cleverly has clocked up 12 months in charge. Remember how we used to take the piss out of Watford?

We now are that joke club.

It seemed to me someone wanted yes men(/women?) and not folk with a long history at the club who questioned some of the things they proposed that had fallen flat on it's face before. We tried the 'broken-crocks-with-good-numbers-when-they're-fit' idea before with the same result as this time. Anyone that argued about it was moved on or left rather than get dog's abuse for it. If you don't want to learn from history you'll never learn anything - to roughly paraphrase what someone else, somewhere else, might have said.

I am surprised that quy left. I'll post my thoughts and reasonings about the next manager tomorrow. Didn't get chance today. It has been...eventful.

Were you being interviewed for the job?
